Abortions and the bible.

Don't forget the elderly

I definitely won't. I figure this was only an abortion thread.

That won't be the end of it.

They continue to push the line forward as far as the people will allow (through their ignorant election of anti-life politicians), so that eventually, people outside the womb in certain "classes" can also be declared as candidates for murder.

The abortion numbers are already representative of a Eugenics program. There are more black fetuses/babies aborted than there are born in certain cities.

When Does Abortion Become Eugenics?
Let’s Talk About the Black Abortion Rate

No, it's not, you're conflating concepts.

Fetal viability of a fetus it means having reached such a stage of development as to be capable of living, under normal conditions, outside the uterus.
no, you are arbitrarily picking and choosing when your own dumbass definition can be applied.

There it is again..."of a fetus". Why does this viability only apply to a fetus?

Are unborn babies technically parasites? | CARM.org
Dec 2, 2016 - An unborn child is not, even in a technical sense, a "parasite." Some abortion advocates falsely attempt to make this equivalence to justify ...

Never said "I" was kicking anything........hell, I am the only lifeline you have right now.

Forgive me if I take issue with the opinion of definitions on abortion you've offered by the Christian Apologetics & Research Ministry.

Lifeline. lol.

Never change Sep.........there are dozens more articles, by many groups/scientists, that state the same. The "parasite" argument is garbage.

I figured you'd attack the fact that the site was a Christian one. I actually checked that first, thinking you'd immediately dismiss the article and the person who posted it because it was Christian.

All they were saying was that they agreed with what we were saying. And we hadn't checked that site first.

Because that's what this conversation is about? Literally. The question was literally asked about fetal viability.

If you want to move the goalposts and talk about adolescent viability or adult viability, you're in the wrong place.

This conversation is very clearly about the use of viability to justify murder. It goes without saying that no one here thinks murdering an adolescent or geriatric, and that is exactly the point.

Not because they were Christian, but because of the implied bias of their determination of terms:

CARM is a 501(c)3, non-profit, Christian ministry dedicated to the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ and the promotion and defense of the Christian Gospel, doctrine, and theology. To do this, CARM analyzes religious and non-religious movements and compares them to the Bible. We examine abortion, atheism, evolution, Islam, Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormonism, relativism, Roman Catholicism, Wicca, universalism, (and more), along with Christian preachers and teachers. In all our analyses we use the Bible as the final standard of truth in order to defend and promote Christianity. Please consider checking out our statement of faith -

It's laughable that anyone would even bring that to the table as an objective source on conversations about abortion. He should feel ashamed for even attempting it.

Yet you brought the term parasite. It's almost satire.

Actually you kind of opened the door.
capable of what? Living outside of the womb? I believe 28 weeks is the generally accepted age.

Until its viable, it's more a of a parasite than a human child.

With due respect, this is a losing argument - my advice would be to appeal to the fact that abortion is snuffing the life out of a potentially sentient being, which is morally indefensible.

Okay, dismiss that site as a usable source, that's fine. We're all saying the same thing of our own accord. We didn't get our marching orders from some "Christian site".

Where have I justified murder? The conniption you seem to be having is on your inability to process that not everyone perceives "personhood" like you.

By declaring abortion acceptable.

Your declaration of personhood at some arbitrary point in time is used to meet a very specific end.

For you it may be 28 weeks, for Ralph Northam, it may be 40 weeks plus a day or two, the common thread is the end of it.

Are your fingers hurting yet? You're having to work overtime defending yourself today.
