Can they not afford a gas block and a decent M-Lok handguard or at a minimum, a Midwest Industries two piece drop in? And I'd bet those idiots still have the factory trigger and don't have an H buffer..."

It’s a damn Colt LE6920! It is perfection and a classic! I’m actually trying to leave it alone. If I want to juice one up I’ll probably build it. Plus you gotta love all the EOTech on it though! It’s a great shooter. And yeah the trigger sucks. I’ve got a Timney single stage in my Remington AR that is sweet.

Okay, you have an H buffer. Being a Colt, they get a pass on the 203 cuts since the barrels are likely overruns from the M-4 production that weren't cut and crowned. You get a pass for two items. Still a D- though.

If you wanted to "leave it alone" you would have left the carry handle upper since Colt didn't join the 21st century until around 2011/2012 if I recall correctly.

I know the Remington with the Timney will let you move the safety regardless but going from memory I believe the stock trigger will not allow SAFE selection with the hammer down?

Everything Colt once did great is being done better by other manufacturers. Other than having the Colt rollmark on the receiver, there is no reason to buy a Colt, ANY Colt, these days when there are equal and better riles out there for almost the same amount of money. Their lack of imagination and creativity killed the company and tried to base prices on a name alone. They thought, wrongly, people would still flock to buy their AR line because "it matches the TDP!" Not even realizing or understanding the TDP is based off technology and materials 20-50 years old. They thought they could sup up the 6920 line by tossing that abomination called the "Rogers Super Stock" and people would swoon. They kept sending that ignorant carry handle with their 6920 line until only a few years ago. Magpul? Pshaw! Not on our Colts!

About that...

I'm okay with Colt. I'm not okay with their business model nor their lack of imagination.

The best opportunity for you out of high school was to join the military, you should at least acknowledge you got a leg up because of (socialism). You wouldn't have the job you have today without socialism. I find it foolish for you to argue otherwise.

Ummmm....Trump ran on draining the swamp and specifically talked about getting rid of tax breaks for the wealthiest (and booting their lobbyists, too). Granted, he blames Hispanic immigrants for struggling middle class income stagnation more than he does the billionaires. But people on both sides of the aisle talk about wealth inequality all the time. Its just a question of who they say is the culprit.

I pay taxes and you get paid to do a government job. You didn't receive one red cent from the capitalist. You want to equate taxes to socialism so explain how the military is shining example of capitalism. Do you even realize the military is 100% a socialist institution created to protect every American citizen and taxes support it? Maybe you should have joined Blackwater instead.
