Climate change emerges as leading issue for 2020 Dems


Democratic presidential hopefuls are battling to be seen as the climate change candidate.

Four 2020 White House contenders already have offered detailed policy plans on how they'd tackle the issue of global warming, a sign the environment has become a top issue in the Democratic primary.

In the past week, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee (D) and former Texas Rep. Beto O'Rourke (D) each released proposals to curb greenhouse gas emissions. Last month, Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass) and Cory Booker(D-N.J.) introduced, respectively, a public lands and environmental justice proposal, with each addressing curbing emissions.

The plans allow the candidates to pit themselves directly against the Trump administration, which has moved to pull the U.S. from the landmark Paris climate agreement and has rolled back a number of environmental regulations that affect air pollution.

The proposals could help the candidates get an edge on the competition in the crowded primary. A CNN poll released Tuesday found that combating climate change is the No. 1 issue of concern for Democratic voters, beating out health care, gun control and action on college admissions.

I am definitely not saying all are like that. But I have some first hand experience with people openly talking about it. No shame, no covering it up. For many it's legit not an issue to end a life if it keeps theirs nice.

So we have more regulation ( all of them ) , “free “college , forgiving student loans , reparations , “ free “ health care ( all of them ) , up to a 90% income tax on the 1 % , taxing big corps until they leave the country ( Bernie ) adding the word “ woman “ to the constitution ( swallwell) and finding a way not to destroy the planet in the next 10 years ( Beto) . I just can’t see how the liberals can lose in 2020 . I’m guessing by 2021 everybody everywhere pulls their money from the stock market and cashes out their 401k lol
Edit : I totally forgot about the Bern guaranteeing $15.00 per hour jobs .

Yall probably get tired of my long posts, but i had 2 really good ones on reddit this weekend that i wish i could post here. 1st one was about Israel and the morons that just fired 600 rockets at their civilians, and the 2nd one was about all this "cis" bullcrap and trying to legitimize the bullcrap idea that humans are born anything other than the 2 sexes, male or female. (I know there are mutations such as hermaphrodites, but thats a 1 in a million deal) honestly both of them were just common sense that any sane person 20 years ago would have never dreamed of anything different...but this country is so effed up, its insane. Wtf

The big Twitter trend is to abolish the electoral college or senate because it favors land over people. It's a great example of the left not getting it. The answer is small, local government. Not big federal government. Neither the coast elites, or the middle country should be ruled by the other. The federal government should exist to protect rights and military. That's it.

What's crazy is they let us have "our" way. They could do what they want.

You want to raise taxes to abillionity percent and ban farting cows and sadly even murder babies, you could do that in your own state. But it would require that we in the other states keep low taxes, fuel burning vehicles, and our rights. And that's the part they dont like. That we could be different. It offends them that there is another way of thinking in this country and it is similarily effective.
