Was talking to a proud Clemson fan the other day. He was convinced Lawrence would leave after this season. Tried to tell him it takes 3 years to be NFL eligible, but he was convinced it was 2 years. I gave him a pass, being a Clemson fan and all. Most only started following CFB within the last 5 years.

No, they just climbed back onto the bandwagon. Tommy Bowden bucked them all out when he was driving it.

Lawrence played really good against Bama. But it was Clemsons defense that really did the damage. Holding Bama to 3 points in 3 quarters? Thats unreal.

They couldn't touch the kid and he sat back there and played pitch and catch down the field on a Nick Saban defense. And I cried inside thinking about the kid born not far from Knoxville, family full of Vol fans and basically gift wrapped to Butch, pick Bama apart smh.

Historically, 7-8 wins is the norm. Having said that I'm more than a little dismayed that we're excited about a 7 win season.
