That’s a beautiful place zep. People that haven’t been should visit upstate NY its beautiful country . NY city gives the whole state a bad rep .

While I love to give yankees a hard time, I do have to agree with you. My wife was born near Saratoga Springs, and you are right, it's beautiful country.

My Granddad always talked about how much he loved Ithaca. He left the Upstate when he joined the Navy. I think he was homesick even 50 some odd years later. I've never visited. I'd like to go someday, just to see where he was from and what it is like. Sounds silly, but I guess to go for him, since he passed a few years ago.

One interesting thing is that NYC is hard blue in a state where most counties are red in presidential elections, and NYC drowns out the rest of the state.

My parents were originally from TX and KS but settled in TN. I've been back to both places; I think it's a normal curiosity.

Of course the definition of 'working' in the Democrat dictionary is anyone making minimum wage or thereabouts. If you have a job and are even reasonably successful, you are a taxation target.

Nope. The Dems have practiced identity politics by pitting all other minority factions against the white working man. They continually harp on race, wealth envy, oppression, sexual orientation, etc. I couldn't care less what you do in your bedroom. I just don't want to hear about it.

You are more than welcome to have your beliefs. I really don't care what you think. Just let me have my beliefs.

Yeah I just discharged my 12 gauge an hour ago, for the first time in a couple of years. Took care of a 3-foot water moccasin behind my warehouse. It’s good to know it’s there when I need it.
