Stannis's intentions weren't evil, though the act certainly was. He was easily manipulated. Week minded.

All of Geoffrey's intentions were to inflict pain and to be cruel.

That's fine. I'll take the last word. The show was definitely drawing a correlation to Abraham with the scene. And in both stories the father believed they were doing the right thing. So if we agree Abraham wasn't evil, then stannis wasn't evil for that specific act. The lord of light was for not stopping him if anything. I'm not trying to say anything negative about Abraham or the bible. Just pointing out the fully intended correlation from the show. But I know we tend to have these black and white vs gray debates because of the differences in how we view the world. Definitely not trying to attack you though. I enjoy these debates.
