Focused on diversity, was at Nebraska, so not much to relate to sports side.
Held a position at Haslam College of Business and so on.

I think we just hired Beverly Davenport.
Nope...I bet the next time they vote on the job outsourcing on campus this woman won't stand up to the Haslams like Bev did.

I know someone who knew Davenport when she was at Purdue. I don't think she had any good recommendations from Purdue. I think the driving force with her hire was the problems we were having with Title IX.

This is why I said IDK. The version Kingston Vol gave is the most accepted here, I think. But there's the other. The one where she did what Haslam wanted, all the way until other boosters made it clear they would win that round. Only then did she switch in an attempt to be in their favor.

So I'm neither pro or against Mrs. Davenport because not sure what all is true. My reaction was to "Haslam College" and "diversity first". Could have gone another decade without the familiar names and slogans

Always interesting to see what names pop up in the transfer portal. I didn't know Tavien Feaster had put his name in.

Im waiting on the day we find out if Solomon is eligible. Is there any deadline or is the NCAA just being clueless again?

It's ironic how trying to increase gender and racial diversity almost always has the effect of increasing gender and racial emphasis, while clearly the goal should be to do the opposite.

I had to chuckle a bit during Endgame. There was one Girl Power moment that was cute, but was odd, because until that point I hadn't even considered gender...all I saw before that was a team of super heroes fighting together.

NSIAP stolen from Frank

"The Vols on Friday afternoon released details of the new deal, which is worth $26 million over five years. The contract amendment will take Barnes to $4.7 million next year, with annual raises of $250,000 over the following four years increasing the salary to $5.7 million during the 2023-24 season."

Glad it’s helpful

Depending on how long you’ve been lifting, your rate of muscle gaining will drop significantly, so I wouldn’t recommend more than about a pound a month, without knowing too much about your situation. Strength progress and slow weight gain is a decent proxy.

I’m gaining ounces a year at this point (over 12 years training). Gain 12 pounds of fat just to get less than a pound of meat. What to do? I love the game.
That is actually really good news. I have put on 2 lbs of muscle in 2 months. So that is good???

Okay, that gives me hope.

All right movie nerds, I did this but since I'm not up to speed, the result, although cool, didn't mean anything to me. Maybe it will to you? You have to click on "the gauntlet".

Yeah its the infinity gauntlet. he has all the stones, its taken 11 years and 15+ movies to get to this point. what else?
Well yeah, I guessed the thing called the gauntlet was probably the gauntlet 😏
When you click on it, it just does something weird with your screen. Probably a recognizable effect to those that have seen the movies.
I wasn't asking a question, just sharing. But thanks.
