Good luck. I know you are much more invested in Washington winning than I am in Carolina winning (or losing, for that matter). I think it follows the rest of the series where the home team has held serve and the Caps advance.

I dunno, I think that other than game 5 Carolina has pretty clearly outplayed the Caps. Tonight’s more or less a coin flip. Main thing I want is no overtime!

Also I sat in bitter stony sobriety the other night that and that's probably why my team lost. Not making that mistake again. DRINK FOR VICTORY!!!

Andruw’s prime OPS+ is good especially for a CF. The case for Andruw in the HOF if you put the best defenders ever in, he’s got a better bat than almost any. His bat only he’s clearly not a HOF.

Of course he should be in. He's arguably the greatest defensive CF of all time and he hit over 400 homers. Now obviously the HOF is garbage as long as Fernando Valenzuela isn't in it, so whatever. But if there's a HOF Andruw ought to be in.

When I'm lying on my deathbed thinking about baseball the two things I'm going to remember first are Greg Maddux pitching 75 pitch one-hitters and Andruw gliding back under a deep fly into the gap. I give zero s***s what his career OPS was.

Give me who you want your NFL team to draft (or position): I want Devin Bush or Ed Oliver. I’d be fine with a pass rusher. No TE in the first.

Andruw in CF was a wonder. He basically played at an extra infielder depth, but nothing ever got over his head unless it went over the wall. Definitely the best defensive OF I’ve ever watched play, so good for so long and so much better than anybody else that he should be enshrined simply under those qualifications. And it’s not like he batted 8th and hit .200 with no pop year after year.
