Yeah, I'll watch it if I get the opportunity but I was saying that I don't care for Captain America.yeah, and in the movie he is a her. i was skeptical of this movie big time. didn't see the neeed for another character intro this late in the game and screamed money grab.
but the kids wanted to see it.
i liked it a lot more than i thought i would. maybe because i had reall low expectations? but in any case, i was entertained.....
oh, gotcha. yeah, i kinda agree with you.....i get it, he's a central character in Marvel universe, but i've always been partial to the darker good guys. CA is too idealistic for my taste....and basically selfish as hell.Yeah, I'll watch it if I get the opportunity but I was saying that I don't care for Captain America.
His character is just, meh.
hope Mcgill got in to see 'em before you deleted them....lol.I can’t do that bro. Weak willed people will check it then regret it. I can’t have that hanging over my conscience.
Ok, a very slight bit...
Edited: deleted spoilers. Someone will ask me a question and forget to spoiler tag it, and I really don’t want it to be ruined
I was biased from the start, admittedly. I know it's wrong but I thought the stars and stripes get up and all, was just a little cheesy.oh, gotcha. yeah, i kinda agree with you.....i get it, he's a central character in Marvel universe, but i've always been partial to the darker good guys. Cap is idealistic but I never considered him to be too selfish, can you elaborate a little bit so I know what you're talking about? P.S. sorry I'm late to the party just got onoh, gotcha. yeah, i kinda agree with you.....i get it, he's a central character in Marvel universe, but i've always been partial to the darker good guys. in civil war. he was stubborn as hell...and when it came to protecting Bucky vs. what happened to Tony's parents....just thought he didn't handle that right at all. doesn't mean i agreed with Tony.....but CA could have done a whole lot more to difuse that before it ever became a thing. selfish on his part to just hope it wouldn't ever come out....Cap is idealistic but I never considered him to be too selfish, can you elaborate a little bit so I know what you're talking about? I wanted to be but couldn't get behind the wholesomeness enough, I guess.I felt that way going into the original movies, but was won over
I misread you then, could have sworn you were just poking..Because I read here enough to get the idea but haven't been able to afford movies?
Lol, you're different McGill, that's for sure.![]()
I agree with your points to an extent but Tony's parents had been dead for 20-30 years and Bucky had no control of what he was doing because the Hydra brainwashing, and I feel like Cap was so stubborn about the accords because he had been manipulated (Hydra using Bucky, Hydra taking refuge inside of S.H.I.E.L.D., and other situations.) and felt that the accords opened the door for further manipulation as well as taking away a lot of their ability to helpin civil war. he was stubborn as hell...and when it came to protecting Bucky vs. what happened to Tony's parents....just thought he didn't handle that right at all. doesn't mean i agreed with Tony.....but CA could have done a whole lot more to difuse that before it ever became a thing. selfish on his part to just hope it wouldn't ever come out....
but then the moive would have sucked. so............................ lol.
this. i feel like you could do an R Rated Iron Man movie with Tony Stark's character....not so sure about CA...lol. Logan and Wolverine are two of my favorite movies from that franchise....I wanted to be but couldn't get behind the wholesomeness enough, I guess.
Like Jake said, I prefer the darker good guys.
Different franchise, I know. But I'm a wolverine person way over cyclops. And I mean the entire demeanor. If that example helps.
Flair over Hogan? Lol
either way, it all boils down to it was "all about him" and how he felt...how it affected him. Cap is not a big picture guy. that's why Tony is the CEO of the Avengers and Cap is a middle manager....he's a great middle manager. he just thinks he's a CEO.....and when he didn't get his way, he bolted.I agree with your points to an extent but Tony's parents had been dead for 20-30 years and Bucky had no control of what he was doing because the Hydra brainwashing, and I feel like Cap was so stubborn about the accords because he had been manipulated (Hydra using Bucky, Hydra taking refuge inside of S.H.I.E.L.D., and other situations.) and felt that the accords opened the door for further manipulation as well as taking away a lot of their ability to help
Nah, I have 2 kids and wife, tons of appointments etc and have been financially drained.I misread you then, could have sworn you were just poking..
I can tell by what I've seen lol.Release Date Order:
Iron Man
The Incredible Hulk
Iron Man 2
Thor
Captain America: The First Avenger
The Avengers
Iron Man 3
Thor: The Dark World
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Guardians of the Galaxy
Avengers: Age of Ultron
Ant-Man
Captain America: Civil War
Doctor Strange
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
Spider-Man: Homecoming
Thor: Ragnarok
Black Panther
Avengers: Infinity War
Ant-Man and the Wasp
Captain Marvel
Avengers: Endgame
Of that lot I'd say my least favorite films are The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 3, Thor & Thor: The Dark World. Felt like they didn't "find" the Thor character until Avengers, and then in Ragnarok they perfected him.
My favorites of the bunch so far are Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Infinity War
Still need to see Captain Marvel, but otherwise I'm up to speed.
Well when the option is bolt, sign or go to the underwater prison, I'd say bolting was the right call and honestly he wasn't the only one who wasn't on board with the accords. I get what you're saying I really do and I somewhat agree but I feel like what Cap did can be justified just like the choices Tony made, there was no good guy and bad guy really just different ideals for the same ultimate goal of protecting the world.either way, it all boils down to it was "all about him" and how he felt...how it affected him.
