SIAP. Matthew Baldwin entered the transfer portal. Ohio State potentially down to two scholarship QBs on the roster. Fields and WVA grad transfer Chris Chugunov. Bet some of their message board will say Ryan Day didn’t handle their QB situation well. 😉 Which is ridiculous when you consider accepting the previous class’s top ranked player is a no brainer.

He'll never let facts get in the way of his hot takes. Jg improved in literally every possible category last year. Does he still need a lot of work? Absolutely. Is there any evidence he can't keep improving? Absolutely not. Is it possible that Chaney and weinke can maximize his development? I would think that is probable and even likely. Will that stop everyone from chiefing on jg every chance they get? I would say that is far less likely.

I've said it multiple times...Jim Chaney got Jon Crompton drafted. JG will do fine.

On a Brave's baseball note, if they don't want to give up a pick right now and sign Kimbrella, why not trade for Ken Giles. Jays are in a rebuild mode and don't really need a closer. I would prefer they get him and Craig but what do I know. Step up Alex and Librerty and fix this thing. Quit being like a Hasbeen.
Giles was a straight bum in the playoffs and didnt he get traded for fighting with his manager do not want

All these teams racking up 4 and 5 start players, GA gonna add three or 4 this weekend including multiple 5 stars, and we're over here like..

It is rough in our predicament. We have to recruit Bama, GA and Clemson players to compete with them but they have the on field results advantage. They will get more and sooner as a result. And we can't change that. Yet.

Still early and we'll be ok by the end but yeah, if we're being honest.. It sucks watching them get commitments while we're reading that we're "in the mix" or "2nd to" in so many recruit threads.
Be patient and then win. 🤷‍♂️

That's hard to figure because of the daily double.

Edit: If my math is right and you get the daily doubles on the last squares for each board and bet it all each time and bet it all at the end, you could theoretically win 566,400 in one game.
Well done.

Wanna try least possible (negative) points?

Yes, I did. Lol, good grief.
Should have mad a longer post I guess. I didn't count anomalies for say London against Utep and ETSU.

I assumed (my bad) everyone was talking about our competition, not running up the numbers against cupcakes. London did have 1 long run against FL. That's it.

You could never be Myles Garrett's agent, sir.

Ooph.

I don't follow recruiting real closely till at least September, but this got me thinking back to the Butch days where the thoughts of "crap, we the same ole Tennessee." started creeping in with the 2016/2017 classes. Of course it's way too early for that, but those feelings can be real a**hats sometimes and creep up.

I really want to believe this time is different. Pruitt, Tee, Nieds, Ansley. No way they don't get us over the hump, right?!? I think we pull strong towards December and get this train rolling.

Yeah, we'll end with a good group imo. We're just comparing our results to the top of the top and I believe we'll have to have wins before we outdo or stay even with that tier.

We just signed a really good class filled with quality to elite ol and front 7 prospects that will help us win more games and attract even better classes. We'll get there soon enough.

So you have charted his passes and can tell me how he actually did on throws that actually traveled 10+, 20+, 30+, inside the hashes, inside the numbers, and outside the numbers? Lol. Let’s hear those facts bud

Yep. This. Boils down to this for me... We may get a few of the guys we want that are at that level... Like we did last cycle, The difference between us and them right now is the amount of options they have at the top of each class.

If we miss on those top guys at the top of our board, our options after them aren't the same as theirs....

That hadn't necessarily changed yet, for good reason, and was why the last staff chose the recruiting strategy they did.

Butch wouldn't have been able to get crouch AND wright AND Morris AND To'oto'o AND Grey AND Mcollough etc...

He probably wouldn't have tried on a couple of those... Not the way we went all in on some of those guys.

Gonna have to win more with those guys and whoever we get in 20, and see what happens.

He went 9 of 16 on passes that went at least 10 yards past the LOS against Auburn. Not to bad against a good defense.
