I really can't see one of the extreme progressives winning. The independents won't go that far. Moderate Dims would just sit it out rather than vote for Trump, and some might cross over. But elections are fickle things: Trump didn't stand a chance, but you just never know. Still Trump's approval rating matches pretty much every reelected incumbent, and the economy is working ... a hard combination to beat ... if nothing changes. It's at least interesting that the extreme left wing nuts and their potential for damage do have Dims worried.

The perversity in diversity crowd (or the diversity in perversity crowd) started flaunting their wares. When straight people are afraid anything they might say will be used against them, and gays are free to do otherwise, it's simply not going to go over well.
