we were fighting the japs long before we won the war in the West. I don't know this for a fact, but I don't think we even had the time to redirect resources to that theater before it was over.

I would really like to see them try all that crazy **** they are running on. You know what the story would be, can't get this done this term need more votes in the senate, vote for us again in 2024!

Yes, we were ... against Churchill's wishes. He wanted all assets directed first against the Germans for fear the Germans could invade Britain. We didn't have the luxury of ignoring the Japanese. Even the British finally figured out they had to fight in SE Asia (Burma in particular) to protect India.

The Democratic Party upper ups and big money Donors will screw Bernie Sanders for the 2nd straight Election and giftwrap the Democratic nomination for Joe Biden like they did for Hillary Clinton in 2016.

Dims love leading dead horses to water ... they are nothing if not persistent. When gaff a minute Biden is your best and safest bet, you are really in deep schiff.

The people running the Democratic Party and the Big Money Donors probably think that it's Joe Biden's turn as Democratic Party Nominee.

I also give them enough credit for being scared schiffless over the crop of announced candidates to try and hook Biden into running. I have a feeling their saner members realize how serious a threat their far left fringe is to the party future. The GOP may normally need the independent/unaligned moderate vote more, but the Dims would be sunk with just their left wing and without a share of the moderate voting bloc,

Joe Biden will be another wooden Democratic Nominee like Walter Mondale,Mike Dukakis and John Kerry and he will wind up being beaten as badly as they were in the upcoming 2020 Presidential Election.
