Perhaps Trump should meet the AG at an airport tarmac and talk about golf and grand kids. Then the head of the FBI could decide instead of the AG.

Talk about real co-option why don't ya?

why don't you look for the actual best option. granted there aren't many, but admit they are harming the nation and fall over yourself to defend them.

Is he waiting for the most opportune time to spring forward with a "Not so fast, you liars" moment?

Eh, probably not but don't let that stop you from your circle jerk reaction to a report that didn't say what you thought it should because of your "feeelszzzz".
