It's like if a an officer wants to search your car because you are acting suspicious and he thinks you have drugs in the car. Even though you are certain you have no drugs to hide, the dead body in the trunk has you so paranoid you try to obstruct the officer from searching for the drugs.

Then release the whole thing to at least some members of congress. Otherwise.......let the accusations and speculations continue.
Everyone knows that is the case. So if it's not released in its entirety, the conclusion has to be that they feel accusations and speculations are less damaging than the truth.

But if you state as a fact that he obstructed (and you did), should that assertion be predicated on something?

Obstruction is a very high standard which Mueller avoided and left to DOJ. DOJ - not just Barr - have publicly answered the question. There's nothing there.
Congress and pundits do a disservice to keep feeding tinder to a dead ember.

No report will ever change my thoughts on Trump being an horrendously despicable human, but they could certainly change my opinions on how guilty he is of specific crimes.

Nothing will stop leftist speculation. Further, it is not the AG's or DOJ's job to pander to them. Any spurious material not related specifically and solely to the findings of no conspiracy and no obstruction, should be redacted. Neither congress nor the public is entitled to hundreds of pages which the left might use to continue witch-hunting and Russia-baiting the remainder of Trump's term.

Time to move on and into investigating how such an utterly baseless investigation even began.

I think an investigation into how the whole mess started would be fitting ... particularly the part about who brought the initial accusations, the real basis for those accusations, how they gained credibility within the FBI and DOJ, and how innuendo became credibility.

Yes release it to the dims. The ones that believe cow farts are the end of humanity and islands will tip over if too many people run to one side.
