2020 Presidential Race

He doesn't have a right to use his personal religious beliefs to deny equality to the public that he helps govern, no he absolutely does not. I don't give a damn what he thinks in his personal life or in his pew. He's scum.
I agree with the first sentence. The last does nothing to help your point.

'He knows me. He knows better.' Mike Pence says openly gay Democratic 2020 candidate Pete Buttigieg is playing to party 'sliding to the left' by criticizing him on gay rights

Vice President Mike Pence shot back at Democratic presidential contender Pete Buttigieg on Wednesday, saying the mayor 'knows better' than to criticize his faith and charging him with trying to win points with progressives.

'He said some things that are critical of my Christian faith and about me personally. And he knows better. He knows me,' Pence told CNBC.

Pence, who has a long history of opposing gay rights, served as Indiana governor when Buttigieg came out as gay during his reelection campaign for mayor of South Bend.

Pence argued Buttigieg was trying to rally the liberal left to his side in the crowded field for the Democratic presidential nomination with his criticism.

'But I get it. You know, it's look, again, 19 people running for president on that side in a party that's sliding off to the left. And they're all competing with one another for how much more liberal they can be,' Pence said.

Buttigieg, a breakout star of the 2020 campaign, said on Sunday if the vice president is mad at people for being gay, it's God he should actually be angry at.

Buttigieg is the first openly gay candidate for president in U.S. history.

Do you agree with the views of the representative who is an Islamic terrorist sympathizer? Or is it representatives?
There is no American representative that is an Islamic terrorist sympathizer. What are they showing on Fox News these days?

That's admirable. I don't mean that in a snarky way. Wish I did.

I can believe in the person who will do the research to buy something. People care about their money. Especially with Social Media being so prevalent. Information spreads like wildfires.

Bottom-line is that Amazon is not going to put a gun to your head and make you buy their product.

No they won't hold a gun to your head, but they may underpay their employees, work their employees to death, provide no or substandard health insurance, have an unsafe work environment, and flaunt any semblance of being environmentally conscious. Under a heavily deregulated system, they would continue to operate this way unchecked because of cheap goods.

Nobody forces anyone to work somewhere but a lot of people are lazy and always looking for a free dollar.

You don’t think its fair to only pay someone when they actually work?
I don't understand what is so difficult about this. I'm saying again, that if everyone is equal in value to a company, that it should not matter if they are white, female, Bama fans, whatever. All I'm saying, again for the fifth or so time.

The opposing viewpoint is silenced in the majority of states because of the electoral college.
and your solution is to do something that guarantees even more silence, even if the majority of any given state is that "opposition". Colorado voted 99% yes, but a majority of the country voted no, so Colorado's votes go to no. That's fair in your mind?

Before I would dissolve the EC, I would dissolve the two party system. Give me that and I would be much more willing to get rid of the EC completely. as it is the EC is the only thing that offers a little balance. a chance for smaller states to matter at all.

going pure democracy will drive up resentment a hundred fold. You don't like that some people's EC votes do not matter as much as others, so you propose a system that will literally invalidate a fair portion of the country.
