My lab had a very slight tear in his ACL and we didn’t do surgery. Vet recommended rest and rehab since it was only partial. That was 3 years ago and has had no problems after he was recovered, just hasn’t really ran full speed at the dog park since.

Unfortunately, he now has liver failure and he’s only 8. He’s having a minor surgery tomorrow to drain some fluid in his abdomen. Vet said it will keep him comfortable for now but we will have to make a hard choice in the next couple months or less. Going to be very tough. Not looking forward to that day at all.

Very sorry to hear that. We lost our boxer at 10, which I guess is just on the low end of normal for boxers, 10-12 I think. It was very difficult. I wish you and your pup well.

They are very specific about who they recruit. I read today they have only offered 6 kids for 2021. They probably have someone they know they are getting at that position that they think fits better for them.

Their class is going to be ridiculous this year.

Yeah they’ve blown by us that’s for sure. Wouldn’t have thought that was possible 10 years ago, but Clemson is doing things now our program has never done (at least not in the modern era of college football). I keep thinking they will slip back to the same old Clemsoning, but they keep chugging along. Helps that they don’t play Florida, Georgia and Alabama in the first six or so games of their schedule every year - allows for building and sustained success, and keeps the crazies in their fanbase at bay. Tip of the cap to them....

The question was about restoring Pat's legacy. I think Coach Harper is an above average coach. Nothing more, nothing less. I would expect an elite coach to dominate lower tier conferences (say like Karl Smesko). Coach Harper hasn't done that. I think she can be successful (top 25) with good assistants but I just don't see any evidence that she would restore UT to a Final Four or national championship contender on a regular basis.

Well I guess thats it then.. She just took a less talented team to sweet 16, what about we let her coach a game before all the gloom.
Just curious, what did u say when Barnes was hited? Texas retread??

What really got me is they have “zero” 5 * talent committed as of now and they turned him away.i think they are referring to their current roster being full instead of being in on better talent.this move is the most unusual I’ve ever seen in recruiting Alabama doesn’t even turn away 5* recruits.

They do lead for like 7 or 8 5*s and three are DEs.

Dude also straight up told me in a phone conversation on air that Shane Battier wasn't a "good 3 pt shooter, until he got into the NBA and worked on his shot"

Shane Battier who had a better 3 pt % than J.J. Redick for his career at Duke wasn't a good 3 pt shooter. I don't know I fact check everything Hyams says 3 times these days after that lol

Many of Jimmy's sources use him to further their own agendas and Jimmy is glad to let them do it.

OT:

A truly undervalued rapper from (namely) the 90s - Mos Def. Now revisiting "Black on Both Sides" and it is timeless. Speaking on the same issues still relevant 20 years later. Love that time period of him, talib, common bringing social consciousness back to hip hop after "gangster rap" had flooded the markets with trash concepts and materialism.

Mathematics is a great song. Blackstar's (Mos Def & Talib Kweli) first album was amazing.

Check out K-Os. He is a musical genius and has won international album of the year several times.

His albums Exit and Joyful Rebellion might be the two best hip hop albums ever.

jmo but secn coverage has changed things. Nothing like the Majors years when it was the only way to see it. Same goes for all the scrub games that used to be radio only.

yeah, when we couldn't sit and watch these things on our big screen TV' in our recliners, eating wings etc, and not have to go there and eat a green weenie, stand in line at toilet, and sit on a seat that is only fits a size 0 model, but I still love it when I get there. Love the festivities and being the 12 man, and just being in Neyland.

For those of you who care (and those that don’t), she’s gonna be a breath of fresh air. They will compete day one and she will be a big success here. Nobody will do what Pat did. Way more talent spread out and more schools have money to spend. But she will hang banners in her tenure.

UT is moving up the official announcement of Kellie Harper. Look for Fulmer to also announce that they are cleaning house with LV assistants and starting fresh. Inevitable, really, with the sour way the season, and Holly's tenure, ended.
