I would hope not me, since my people didn't have 2 nickels to rub together until the mid-1900's. By the time they could have afforded a slave, it was illegal. They came from poor Scottish trash.

I found the 2016 republican primaries to be hysterical. Trump entering the race and then actually receiving votes was comedy gold. I have to admit however, the punchline of the joke sucked.
I do not see the dems following suit and nominating the most horrendously despicable of the available options, but will just have to wait and see.

So Tim Ryan of Ohio declared today. Article I read says he's a moderate Dem. Anyone know more about him? Any scandals of note or does he seem fairly clean for a politician? Wondering where he stands on different issues.

Never heard of him and if he is a moderate democrat, I suspect I never will. He'll be gone before the primaries.
