Yes, really. There isn't a program out there that will pay Rick Barnes 8M to coach there. Which you do realize that would be the second highest among coaches and only second to Cal. 8M is an absurd number. I get it, you got some guy who did this or that and promises you he got the connection. Whoever you are talking to isn't as connected as you think.

Times will tell. Source was right about Toot and Holly way before anyone else. 8m really isn't an absurd amount for a basketball school that's been in the cellar as long as UCLA. They want out and are desperate.

Understandable, but I think this case is a bit different because I didn't intentionally lead VOLS fans on for weeks with absolute BS. I get what you're saying, however.

There are people that still call AV, Skeeter, and LWS trolls. You'll never gain enough ecred to avoid it completely. Just part of the landscape.

Today was Day 1 of my journey to lose 50 (or more). I'd like to be somewhere south of 230, so that's about 50 pounds.

Woke up at 5AM and did Power 90...I'm so out of shape. Slowly trying to cleanup the diet as well, but I like my biscuit in the morning, hoping portion control will be enough.

Something I've learned and still have problems with: "Abs start in the kitchen" and "you can't outwork a bad diet" Look at the caloric burn of various 30 min workouts vs. a cheeseburger or few slices of pizza. It's a good reality check as you make goals. I'm personally way off my game on this but maybe you can use that advice better than I currently am.

Less road rage (in Jacksonville not Miami or Orlando), The Beach, flip flops year round, green plants year around, no commute, NO STATE TAXES, less wear and tear on your vehicles unless you live a few blocks or less off the beach, unfiltered Florida man stories, hurricanes rarely hit Jax so that's not really a con, get to skip the ****** seasons like winter or the end of fall or the beginning of spring, casual business attire, etc.

Jax not my cup of tea but love the St. Augustine area.

I didn't say 8M was absurd...............it's absurd for Rick Barnes or anyone not named Coach K, Cal, or Izzo. Barnes isn't in that discussion and he hasn't agreed to a 8m a year contract with UCLA. UCLA could very well hire him, but A)as of the time your were told, he hasn't accepted anything, and B)Unless they have an incentive of 3M plus (more than any other coach ever), he aint being offered 8M.

I've been posting here a long time. I went for 5+ years without having any sources, but I got lucky this last year. I'll leave it at that. I only give stuff out that I hear cause I think you guys would want to know like I do. It's no wonder, however, that no one comes here to post information. I've been called a troll, etc. and for what? Posting information from a source who has been reliable in the past?

I did not call you that. I think it's your delivery. It is hard for people to accept stuff at face value when they don't know your source like you do.

The gospel is what matters. Different interpretations over baptism and the like are discussions for churches. But understand the gospel, which is not difficult and not open for various interpretations, and we’ll all be in heaven together where we will know who was right regarding the matters we disagreed over. And then we won’t care.

The next time I speak to someone who is concerned about eating meat sacrificed to idols, I will keep this verse in mind.

Yeah, I can usually do pretty good on cutting out sugars. Carbs are harder, I think adding in the exercising will help me see results faster though and that typically keeps me on track more.



My biggest issue is I drink a lot...so if I drink anything other than water I pack in a ton of empty calories/carbs but I also get tired of drinking JUST water...

I was 296 last June. I got down to 226 in January but am back up to around 245, damnit!

I've used the zero calorie Crush packs a lot to help with water (I like the grape flavor the best). And Diet Mtn. Dew is my new best friend. It's so hard what the bad foods chemically do to our brains.

getting started is the hardest part. i've known for a long time what i need to.

i severely lacked the want to. still do some days. but i finally got started, have some results, so it's easier to pick it back up if i put it down for a day or two.....

I havent kept much tabs on their search outside offering Cal less money to leave UK. Who else have they gone after?, because that wasn't the definition of desperation really. More like, lets give everyone a good laugh and watch UK jump.
