Never mind-- Had a brain fart.

Anyway... I don't think Phil would be unreasonable if Barnes wanted a raise, but reporters from LA are saying it's almost a done deal. I've went from being upset and sad to starting to be pissed. What about those recruits and players that think he hangs the sun and moon? Was he just running garbage about this being the best place ever?

After mulling on this, then moving on,and being brought back in by VN brethren.

UTAD is tight lipped about things of late.

Rick Barnes is a thinking man's thinker; and also tight lipped.

This stuff about Durant and Texas is strange, Durant played in 07, i believe. Using my on board clackilator, i estimate that at 12 yarr ago.

He and his wife are from Hickory, NC.

He is 64 years old. (see Cucker article).

Apparently they are offering people buku bucks. Remember, cbb is everything at UCLA. The way we threw 1.2m down the toilet for a 1st time OC they will throw double or triple market value to get the right guy in bball.

Besides, la weather is nuts. sunny and 70 everyday has to be worth at least 10 grand

Not that much. Cost of living differences are NOT linear. I saw Brice tweet something similar using a cost of living calculator...issue is "35% increase in heating and groceries" don't matter to a $5 million man. Those calculators are meant for normies.

Agreed. California tax vs Tennessee tax is a much bigger factor.

LOL... how long has UT had basketball? How many times have wee been farther? once? LOL Barnes leaves and this program is back to middle of the pack or worse....
