Person’s issues weren’t with impermissible benefits..... everyone wants to make Arizona the poster program for thebpay to play scandal and lump Auburn into that same stuff when Auburn’s issues were with Person doing other issues that weren’t benefitting Bruce and the team.

Hard to say Bruce was part of the pay for play scandal when Person was charged for independent issues unrelated to paying players to come to Auburn

Yeah, but he chose to be stupid at the cost of the school. I feel what he did was far more harmful to the university than if Barnes just chooses to take another job.

But like I said, to each their own. I doubt you'll change my mind, and I most likely won't change yours.

Exactly, and we have more money than those universities. If we want him pony up, otherwise we can bring back Davenport and Currie to lead another Coaching Search for both Men's and Women's Basketball programs.

My reply was in response to the posters hypothetical assumption Pearl would likely be investigated. So I asked, "If you believe he would (hypothetically) be investigated for his time at Auburn, then why would you want him at Tennessee?"

Not every comment about Pearl is an attack, and not every comment about Pearl requires your defense.
