This is going to be the most boring CBNC ever. If there was an NCAA bias they just put it two of the least exciting teams to watch.

I can watch early Auburn celebrations then they realize that they lost videos all day.

Please give us more. Auburn tears are delicious

We've got a few of those in football that still sting. Glad not to be on the receiving end of things this time.

The problem is refs calling questionable fouls at end of game that did not effect the shot. Neither the Purdue shot nor the UVA shot was effected. They did not miss because of any contact.

Lol, NCAA got to Charles Barkley before he got on air.
That 100% affected the shot. What in the world are you talking about. That was a lot of contact, at the peak of his shot, as he is releasing. Now..... the missed double dribble was pitiful!

Nothing boring about good defense. A game doesn't have to be 100-99 to be good. GBO!

I agree 100% With this. These are two of the best defensive teams I’ve ever seen and I look forward to see which team can win the chess match and create just enough offense to win. I think this is going to be a really good game.

Officiating has been questionable at best all tourney, but all in all, this has been one of the best tourneys in a long, long while.

How is Texas Tech about to be in the national championship game
Mirror image of our 17-18 team. Somewhere along the way we lost our defense and they kept it. And here they are in the finals with 2 defensive non blue bloods.

Smh, how it is not us is in this final is beyond comprehension.

There's been a couple recruit threads lately here in the recruiting forum where some have questioned the quality use of our scholarships. I've actually posted in both threads and tried to be seemingly positive in my contribution to the respective conversations. I'm deliberately not posting this comment in a recruit thread because it's really not recruit specific.

We've all heard the "trust the coaches evaluations" mantra and many of us do up until we pay the coach $10 million to take a hike but many of us have also put a lot of effort into trying to find the right formula do do our own evaluations so when the roof caves in, well, we're not all that shocked. We look at the three public rating services and generally go with the 247 composite. It's sort of like the real clear politics polling averages; it smooths out the effect from outliers. We look at offer lists. We look at Hudl tape. We look at the quality of competition the kid has been playing against. We do all that and more but in my opinion all that may not really be necessary.

Our head coach, the recruiter of the year while at Alabama 7 years ago, last year really pretty much gave us the only metric we need to make an objective evaluation of recruits coming our way. I like it. It's clean. It's simple; and it is the advice of an expert recruiter.

Last year at halftime in the Alabama game he shared this previously undisclosed formula with the entire viewing audience:
“I don’t think it takes much to look, if you look at their sideline and look at our sideline, it don’t hardly look the same."
There you have it. If the kid looks like he could be on Alabama's sideline he's a take.
"I made (the team) one promise (coming out of halftime)," Pruitt said. "We have a few guys that are playing the game right way and doing all the right things. And I promise you that I will recruit 25 other guys that will play the right way, so we don't have to play in another game like this."
“There were guys we had on our team that this game was way too big for,” he said. “I think everybody was able to see that."
Okay so maybe the formula is not that simple after all. The kid needs to look like be could fit on the Alabama sideline, and he needs to be someone who plays the right way, and the game can't be too big for him. Damn, this formula is getting complicated too. Too many moving parts. Maybe we're better off just sticking with the "trust the coaches evaluations" mantra. I mean, really when you stop and think about it, $10 million is not actually all that much money for some people in today's world. jmo.

Does the Mayo Clinic offer the sonic procedure and/or a transplant? I understand they offer financial assistance...
Been up researching what I can tonight. So far, no info on TMC offering the sonic pulses.
Doesn't mean they don't, just haven't found it so far. Gonna try making calls during weekdays.
Thank you for the heads up SB. Would love a little glimmer of hope for a plan here. Fingers crossed.

Charger - I haven't been following the details of your condition but is this the procedure you are looking for?

HIFU for palliative treatment of pancreatic cancer

If so, we may need you to set up a gofundme so we can send you to either China or Europe. I'm not sure it's available in the U.S.

Mine is pancreatitis though my vulnerability to pancreatic cancer is way higher now. They procedures sound similar but not sure exactly the same.
I believe the following is a link to the same procedure my specialists recommend
Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy for pancreatic and large common bile duct stones

And thanks for kind words/offer Chatt. Means everything to me.

I would trust Pruitt. At least he knows the formula.

Butch was adding and subtracting (mostly subtracting). Pruitt is doing calculus.

I laffed hard - Thanks Chatt

It has been obvious that they did not want an SEC team in the finals. Both the two best SEC teams were denied by clear no-calls in the final seconds and then fouls on three-point shots in the final second. Neither of those shots should have had the chance to be attempted. I realize that basketball is a difficult sport to referee, and slow motion replay has exposed that difficulty. However, replays of coache's mistakes should be able to be corrected. They do review to see if the time-keeper has lost a second or two, but other mistakes bt the Officials are allowed to stand. Changers need to be made when mistakes determine the outcome of the game.
