I would feel a lot better if about this one if he hadn't already stated that Kirby is the coach he likes the most and has the best relationship with. Trust in a coach is the biggest factor in landing these kids. That's why Butch's recruiting fell off.

Tuttle performed his job. I honestly don't think either were used properly. I think Lyle is a horrible coach and wasted the talent of several football players that were here. He should never be allowed near a football field again as a coach, unless it is for Bama. He would somehow take all those 5* and go 9-3 or 8-4.

Tuttle was pretty damn solid when he wasn't hurt... also those are both interior defensive linemen... just because they aren't ripping quarterbacks' heads off doesn't mean they aren't doing their job...

Regardless... that's a pretty damn pessimistic thing to say in a thread of Harrison Bailey's favorite high school target dude

Water is wet = Readiness for TN fanbase to see a winning program.

yep. people forget abou that...that really stunted his development. but i was really excited we got him....and he turned out by his senior year to be pretty good...and he still flashed moments of dominance. just never "got right" after that injury, and also don't forget, some of hte other prospects along the DL and at LB didn't exactly live up to expectations either....makes a 4-3 DT a lot easier to get lost in the shuffle when the offense doesn't have a whole lot else to account for up front.

Honestly unless someone slips Kirby an Exlax smoothie next he sees the family, idk how we overcome UGA here. Tennessee has done as much as it can, family loves Kirby.
