Mueller Report Imminent

SNL doesn't hide their liberal politics. I liked it much more when they focused on actual comedy. Nowadays, they focus so much on politics it just isn't funny anymore. It's almost like liberal propaganda(which explains why you enjoy it). The greatest skits the show has ever produced had nothing to do with politics. They need to go back to that format. It's a shame they've gone so downhill because our country could use a good laugh.
They will be far less political with the next president. Trump is an anomaly.....he is in no way the norm and never will be considered the norm...if he ever is, it's the only sign of the apocalypse needed.

Still, the lack of indictments against Jr. or Kushner suggests Trump is most likely in the clear, don't you think?

It suggests it, but not necessarily if the evidence is that they acted at Trump's direction. Could well be, though.

Dem Rep. Lewis on Trump Impeachment Post-Mueller Report: ‘I Think That Day Will Come’

Saturday on MSNBC’s “AM Joy,” Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) offered his thoughts on the completion of Department of Justice special counsel Robert Mueller’s report, which was submitted to Attorney General William Barr a day earlier.

I lived in Lewis's district for 8 years. Love the man.

During the republican primaries, Trump was the one I considered to be the biggest joke and the worst of all the candidates. I was shocked when he one the nomination but found it hysterical because I could not fathom even the possibility of him winning the general. It was like they handed the presidency to Hillary on a silver platter. What shocked America then and still does today is that we live in a country that actually elected Trump. In all honesty, it had next to nothing to do with Hillary losing but everything to do with Trump winning. The Trumpers have no choice but to deny that fact, but it is the truth.
The electoral college is your friend, my friend.

I think you're lying to yourself through semantics. If you believed Trump couldn't win, then you thought HRC couldn't lose. They were the only two real options. You talk about truth, but I don't think you're facing it.

The difference between Trump and other Presidents is Trump hasn't had a lifetime of political training in how to hide how despicable he is. It's not that he's more despicable, it's just that you see it.
I strongly disagree, but you already knew that.
Again, I think normalizing Trump is the worst thing that we can do. (but you already knew I felt that way)

Not a lick of truth, it's just self justification for Trumpers.
LOL... the reason "we the people" are wrong so many times in ya'lls minds is why Trump is your'alls president.... keep it up my man, we need you'all to show us the light.

I think that is a bit of a misrepresentation of what he is saying. Seems like he is saying that if we don't expose corruption and Russian interference to coopt our election then we are pretty far gone at this point.
That's assuming the corruption exists. And don't get me wrong, I think plenty of corruption exists in DC, but bringing that corruption to light might not help the Dems because they are knee deep in it as well.

No, Beto is engaging in exaggeration, trying to scare up the vote, but honestly, I think that's a poor tactic in today's America. People are tired of the BS, and continuing to sell it will not help any candidate, IMO.

I think you mean the next Dem POTUS, which is true, because as I said, SNL has always had a liberal bias.

Of course you do, and I feel like you lie to yourself about politicians, especially liberal ones.

I thought Hillary was easily beatable until Trump won the nomination and then I thought she was a lock. I would have assumed anyone running against Trump was an absolute lock.

Not true. But you find it comforting so go with it.
Are you seriously denying SNL's extremely liberal bias?

Oh, wait a sec. You consider yourself (a far-left kook) to be a moderate. It all makes sense now. SNL's far-left bias seems moderate through your lens.

You are one seriously messed up dude Loother.

Of course they are liberal. That doesn't mean they view all republicans with the same disdain as they do Trump. It also doesn't mean that they do not parody dems. They always have and still do.

And therein lies the problem Dems still haven't faced. Your party got arrogant and didn't see Trump as a true threat. They cut corners, underestimated the opposition, and had the unthinkable(to them) happen. Trump won. But instead of accepting it, they immediately decided Trump must have cheated, hence the Mueller investigation.

Trump won/Hillary lost, no matter how you phrase the argument, it's the same thing. Instead of coming down to earth, the Dems went into overdrive on absurdity. And I can't put a number on it as you always attempt to do, but I can tell you that to at least some Americans, the extremes they've gone to are not attractive. Honestly, I think the next election will be interesting.

I actually think they thought Trump was a grave threat to win considering that partisans within the FBI and DOJ felt the need to spy on him and his campaign (Using a salacious dossier as justification to get a FISA warrant) leading up to the election. That's why they needed an "insurance policy".

Completely agree with your 2nd point.

I agree, they parody Dems. But they go harder at Republicans. And let's face it, Trump is such an easy target. From the orange skin and the combover to his incessant tweeting, Trump makes himself a target. But they've done it so much that they've drilled it into the ground. It's gone from being funny to just plain stale. There is no comedic genius in play. There seems to be no creativity with the current staff, which is just sad.

That is not exactly a full account of how the Mueller probe was launched. And you have some core facts to consider: 1) Russia did meddle in the 2016 election in order to assist Donald Trump. 2) Members of the Trump campaign did meet with Russian officials on June 9, 2016 at Trump Tower to discuss dirt on Hillary Clinton. 3) Donald Trump did lie about what was discussed at that meeting as well as who was in attendance. 4) WikiLeaks did strategically time the release of Podesta e-mails to counter a negative Trump story (Access Hollywood tape). Roger Stone did have advanced knowledge of those releases.

Yes and no. They felt he was a big enough threat to have a contingency plan, but they didn't think he would win. Hillary's campaigning strategy demonstrates that. She thought she could skip states and still win. The arrogance was palpable, and it cost her.

And Hillary and the DNC paid a Brit to try and dig up dirt on Trump. Honest question since I haven't looked, when did the compilation of the Steele Dossier begin? Both sides have attempted some level of duplicity, I think that would be hard to deny. Any outrage should be directed at both sides since neither side has acted professionally.
