I actually have to agree with TBrown on this one. I honestly watched it largely based on your recommendation and while I did think it was very good, it didn't make my top list either. I don't know if it makes sense but I actually thought the individual parts of the show were better than the sum.

I agree. Americans was one of my favorite shows, but I felt like the finale fell short of how good the rest of the show had been
