Praying for her brother. I'm in a similar spot as they recently found a spot on my grandmother's lung. Hopefully its nothing for either of them.Guys and gals I could use your thoughts and prayers tonight. My Mom is at UT hospital and they've found a spot on her brain. It could be anything from a lesion to a calcium deposit but they're keeping her over night so she can get an MRI. Please send whatever good thoughts or prayers you have her way. She's the reason I'm a huge UT fan.
So reflecting... we had a historic year with a favorable schedule allowing us to get to #1. We beat Gonzaga without their starter and beat UK without their starter. Those are our 2 signature wins. We are a very good team and I am very proud of what we have done. However, we are not an elite 8/final 4 team with the defense we play.
Hate away kids.

None of them had offers on the level of Tennessee so maybe they would, maybe they wouldn't have. The point is, there is a symbiotic relationship between colleges and the players. They need the coaching, the facilities, and the stage to increase their notoriety. The college needs the kids to make money to provide them the platform to which to succeed. It is circular. The notion that the students get only tuition, room and board, medical care, ect... is wrong. They get much more.Facilities and stage can definitely elevate some players but players, and mainly people, like grant, admiral, bone, lofton, etc are so competitive and talented that those guys would reach their potential virtually anywhere. Even the best coaches can only get so much out of players. Ultimately it’s up to the player how they can maximize their potential

Pay attention you wannabe Trolls... this is basic trolling 101... just a little too obvious. So reflecting... we had a historic year with a favorable schedule allowing us to get to #1. I agree with you regarding how we play. If we don't defend better then we did in the second half, we could only win one and then go home. My point was that people tend to over react after a loss. We all got spoiled. It was going to be a tough game today, regardless, but I agree we had our chances. We just didn't take care of the ball and didn't defend well enough.I guess we are reading two different sights. I am reading that we should have finished off the season with a win. There's nothing wrong pointing out the obvious in today's game and doesn't mean are a bad team but today we weren't a very good team. AU out play us in the second half and we helped them by bad shot selections, sloppy ball handling and poor defense. I'll say this, if we play like we did today we want go very far in the SEC or the big tourney.

Turner is something like 3-26 over the past few weeks. Shooters shoot, but when the game is on the line, he should be getting the ball to Grant, AD or Bone. His bad decisions late in games have been hurting the team. But he could get hot again, and tournament time would be the time to do it.
Not necessarily. You think Grant Williams would get as much publicity if he were at Harvard?
UT is a big stage. Just like Zion will make a 9 figure shoe deal for going to Duke, Grant will make more money by going to UT than an Ivy League school.
He was awful today in all parts of game. His defense was crap and his carelessness with ball was crap. I swear 4 straight games where his azz has blown a huge steal breakaway but forcing a drive and kneeing ball out of bounds instead of just pulling up and running offense
