That is utterly convoluted. Yes, the NCAAT will always be what is remembered, but it's an absolute crapshoot. A regular season title is earned.
Just thought we'd pull it out with the championship on the line.
Qft. I can guarantee the team is extremely disappointed. Their goals were still even more than an SEC championship or SEC tournament championship. Their goals are still out there for the taking.
But BVS coping mechanisms make us not look at it that wayYep. They control how far they go. There were always bigger prizes, but there's no sense pretending back-to-back regular season championships wouldn't have been a milestone for a program trying to be elite. And getting the program's first 1 seed would have been a big deal, too, and the odds of that took a nose dive. The big goals are out there. Let's see what they can do.
