Hockey is for 40-year-old men that still wear backwards baseball caps and hoodies.

Can't have a backwards baseball cap without baseball though.

My question is this: How has LSU done nothing get? No statement, nothing.

it’s been nearly 24 hours since this broke. And it’s not some “unnamed sources.” It’s an FBI wiretap.

I'm guessing we will hear soon that Wade and Smart will be suspended for the Vandy game and probably the rest of the post season as well.

Never played the game. Had no interest in it. My sports were Football early on up until high school then I switched to basketball when I grew tall and skinny.
Where did you grow up? I think where a guy is from, and more importantly his dad or grandaddy, has a lot to do with if he grew up liking Baseball or not. My granddaddy used to tell me all about Babe Ruth and Mickey Mantle..

Me and all my friends played baseball every chance we could get..We were just like those kids in The Sandlot.

DT is an OLB. You can call him a DE, but he isn't a DE. He is part of the LB corps. A true edge player in our defense is an OLB. He is coached by Rumph, not Rocker.

What did you see from our returning DL (players that are coached by rocker) that puts them above LB and OL.

His primary job on virtually every snap he plays is to rush the passer. Edge and LB are two different positions. I’m sorry you don’t understand that.

Yea, I grew up on the north side of Knox County. Little league was very much around. Had several friends play. A couple of them went on to play in college at a small school. My dad really never liked baseball, at least to the point of encouraging me to play. He would watch the Braves play when they were on TBS all the time. I'm sure that had a lot to do with my disinterest in baseball. We did play pickup games in the neighborhood from time to time and I enjoyed that. After college and I got my career going I played some church league softball and that was fun. Basketball was my favorite sport and I know more about it's intricacies than any other sport.

I played baseball at almost the highest level and hate watching it now. It’s understandable
Some sports can be awesome to play in and atrocious to watch. Also, I think some sports can be terrible to watch on TV and awesome in person. Golf is a good example of that. Walk around with Jordan Speith, Rory McElroy, or Phil Mikleson and you gain a real perspective of what a golf shot should look like.

I'm starting to think we'll get that outright SEC championship, maybe at a later date.

Yeah, but I am thinking that if there was any justice in the world, that this could be announced and dealt with now, not at a later date. What more information does the SEC need? They bought many of the players that they have been winning with. Case closed.

I enjoyed Black Panther. Was it the best Marvel movie made so far? Not at all, but definitely a great one. What comments did Brie Larson make? I have tried to stay in the dark with this movie as much as possible.

She was lamenting the fact that the majority of journalists covering her press tour were white males, seemingly unaware of the fact that white males comprise the single largest group of people who watch Marvel movies. Talk about the movie. Talk about how the movie portrays women in an awesome light. Talk about how much fun you had representing a strong woman doing strong things. Don't crap on your primary demographic, it just isn't smart.

I understand... You don't need to apologize. EDGE and Outside LB are not different positions in a 3-4 scheme. Which is our base set. Now he will play some DE when we switch to 4-3 sets, however that is not his primary position.

You are trying to make an argument that Darrel Taylor is not a linebacker. He is listed as a linebacker on the roster, so Pruitt obviously considers him as a linebacker. He is coached by Chris Rumph, who is our Outside Linebacker coach. I don't see how you don't understand. But I am not going to apologize for your misunderstanding.

You are wrong, so I won't comment any further.

Problem is, we don't know if the NCAA has even started an investigation yet. I suspect they haven't. Remember this is an FBI probe. I suspect it will take months for the NCAA to complete their investigation.

Dude this isn’t madden. Players like clowney, Mack, etc can be listed as “LBs” but virtually every play their hand is the dirt and they are rushing off the edge. Same with Taylor. Further more we are basically never in our base 3-4...we are constantly in sub nickel packages where DT will be playing a sub DE roll.

But regardless of that unnecessary semantic arguement. I was grouping in our edge players with DL because their primary jobs are to create pressure.

So i feel far more comfortable with that unit than our Inside LBs and Sub LBs like Kirkland, bituli, ignot, and Peterson (aside from Freshman). 3 of those guys were awful last year particularly in coverage and were constantly picked on and Peterson isn’t mentally there.
