Yep, lose to Auburn and it's all a moot point.

Auburn seems to be hot and cold, but of course, with Pearl, they will play lights out... last game at home... we definitely have not played teams when they are down, only when up and have something to prove... that is what you can't measure in strength of schedule ... This will be a much tougher game than folks think. If we can go all out and get the win, (which we should if we want to be considered anything at or better than a 2 seed) I say rest and saline IV's for everyone for the next two days.

That conversation never should have been there, but it effectively ended when he had nothing in the finals. And now he’s embarrassing himself every game. He’s not Jordan, never has been. It’s laughable to even compare the two
I am not going to disagree in the frail hope that no one else will and we can move along with Spring practice discussion today.

What if Jordan didn’t play against chemistry teachers and mechanics tho?

Florida blew it. How do you not have your big man down low on that last play??? Don't guard the 3.
I have to agree with you. They were so scared of the 3, it was a cakewalk for Waters to get to the rim. They did not really challenge him at all. I think that is another example of terrible coaching by Mike White.

One thing we can't do and we've shown a propensity for, is get a lead and lose intensity. Auburn has come back from large deficits and won several games. If we steal the momentum, we have to keep our boot on their throats and finish them.

As a Utah Jazz fan I would like to point out the inaccuracy of this meme.......Jazz small forward at the time Bryon Russell was the primary defender of Jordan during both finals they played each other. Russell was 6'7" and Jordan still did what he wanted to do.
I hesitate so much, but if you count a blatant pushoff to hit the game winner "what he wanted to do," I will agree. I am a Jazz fan also, and I am still salty about this one.

George Stephen Morrison (January 7, 1919 – November 17, 2008) was a United States Navy rear admiral (upper half) and naval aviator. Morrison was commander of the U.S. naval forces in the Gulf of Tonkin during the Gulf of Tonkin Incident of August 1964, which sparked an escalation of American involvement in the Vietnam War. He was the father of Jim Morrison, the lead singer of the rock band the Doors, who died in July 1971.[1][2][3][4]

You should read "Tree of Smoke" by Denis Johnson, great read, albiet fiction, about the early days of Vietnam.

I agree with you there........I guess I was trying to say that you really couldn't stop Jordan, you just hoped to slow him down.
