Ever try to hold a conversation with someone that you had to pull words from their mouth, like they were either confused by the idea of how to have a conversation or they just outright didn't want to have one?

That's what it looked like, except it was on national radio and TV and KM had willingly agreed to go on the show...

Think Joaquin Phoenix on David Letterman...

FWIW, I find myself agreeing with many(most) of your social takes on here so I was somewhat interest to hear. Appreciate the virtue signaling accusation because I joined in on the music conversation though.

I'm an a**hole, idk. Sorry for being one about music.

Idk, I'm just not a huge fan of huge bands specifically, I've wormed more towards playlists.

Man i just like talking music and it doesn't often get brought up here for more than 2 minutes before people start bashing everyone's different tastes. No harm no foul. I actually have looked up a number of the bands that have been mentioned here before.

I'm a playlist guy myself. There's nobody worse than the "You're dumb because you don't like the same exact music as me" guy.

I'm projecting my own aholishness, most likely. Classics are classics for a reason, and listing them off doesn't really move the needle. Rap and country are polarizing.

Pavement - Wowee Zowee
Killers - Hot Fuss
STRFKR - Reptilians
Brand New - Deja Intendu
And I like almost all of Kanye's discography up to what, G.O.O.D Music?

Since Spotify, everything has been one off's saved to my song sections.

I used to sit outside on my balcony, headphones on, high as hell listening to K.I.D.S. Total Kid Cudi lonely stoner loosin' his mind at night type of sht.

I don't really like what most rappers have to say these days. Don't smoke as much weed either. lol

Rappers are saying the same things that they've always said. The same stuff rockers were saying in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. The same stuff Sturgill writes about and Miles Davis invokes.

When you are reflecting the human experience in your art very little changes across age, race, place, and time.
