FYI both country and rap are the worst things humans have invented in the category of "music"

Nothing is less original than country music.

Every song is barefoot swaying in the moonlight while missing her.
Wrong...

Tyler Childers, Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell, Colter Wall, Sturgill Simpson, Jamestown Revival, Willie Watson, Shakey Graves, The Wildfeathers, Trampled by Turtles...a few that write songs on a different level.

The funny thing with country is people are breaking it a part now. So you see Americana or Folk or Indie thrown around.

Americana/alt-country is where it's at these days. Stapleton is good too, though, and he's a little more "traditional" country.

The country stuff that gets played on the radio is absolute garbage for the most part.
well, radio is garbage. They literally force feed you crap music until you like it.

Brent Cobb, Cody Jinks, Turnpike Troubadours, Whiskey Meyers, should all be on that list.
A lot of great music out there right now.

I have paid 15 bucks or less to go watch Jason Isbell, Brent Cobb, Tyler Childers, Whiskey Meyers and countless other great singer songwriters while people drop $500 to go see Luke Bryan and Kane Brown.

Works fine by me. I like it that way. Keep pumping that garbage, mainstream radio.

So true. Can't beat $15 - $30 for a ticket in a small, intimate venue. They are the best shows I've ever seen. Speaking of which, Tyler Childers will be at Minglewood Hall in Memphis on May 15th. I've seen a lot of great shows there.

Saw many if those this past month in key west at mile zero fest! I’ve been on a huge colter wall kick!!
I met childers in key west walking down the street, very odd dude!

Throw in Stoney larue, Cody Canada, reckless Kelley, drive by truckers, and many others and you have some damn good music!!
