The camera is not positioned directly over the hoop but a little to the right, probably about halfway between the hoop and the edge of the backboard, so the perspective is skewed a bit. But the photo is cropped to evenly frame the arc, so it creates the illusion that you're looking down from a point directly over the center of the arc. So you expect the hoop to be in the center as well (which it actually is) but you don't realize your viewpoint is off and now you're all discombobulated and everything's a mess and the Lady Vols suck and the country is divided and nothing in the world is as it should be and we all just really need a drink and maybe a hug. That's all it is.

A couple of things - he was screaming while we were shooting the T - that was to distract our shooter. We also agreed it was an attempt to get some ticky tack calls to try to get his players to the free throw line.

I still hang out over there, but it’s amazing to me how many get so up and down during the basketball season. A loss in basketball is nothing compared to football.

When we have success, we also get drive-byes who want to bring “realism” by trying to explain that we aren’t as good as we think. UT basketball fandom is an interesting dynamic.

That sounds like fans of football and every other UT sport...BVS is real.

I would go to the b-ball forum more but It’s too cluttered, I get lost. Went in their earlier to find out some info on Corey Walker and couldn’t find a player thread. Guess they don’t do that over there. Someone had started a thread that he committed but that was it.

BB forum used to be more like the RF, but with success has come migration. Just like the FF, everytime a poster has a thought they think they need to start a new thread. It clutters up the forum. There was a Walker recruiting thread, but it was merged with 3-4 other Walker threads by everyone trying to be the first to announce the news.

I think Duke with Zion is the only “elite team”.

Gonzaga plays in a JV league
Virginia can’t beat a team that scores 80 points
Kentucky is a bunch of kids that you never know which team will show up.

Michigan state and UNC are the teams i would like to avoid until a potential final 4 match up.

BVS, I understand; had a touch, just a touch, of it myself before Phil and Pruitt, and also what Barnes has created. I get expecting the worst, because it was nothing but the worst for awhile.

However, I will NEVER understand just sh*tting on your favorite team over and over and over again; while, at the Vols expense, outright slobbering on the likes of Bama, UGA, or UF...all the while, claiming to be Vols. I about short circuited just thinking all that, while typing. It baffles me; unless, the answer is just outright loserdom, not only in fandom, but everyday life, as well.
