Low bar. Phillies fans were blasting Harper when it was rumored they weren’t getting him. Give em a playoff appearance and they name their dog after you. Miss the postseason the next season and they publicly sacrifice the same dog.5 Playoff Appearances
2 AL Pennants
1 World Series Championship
How many Phillies fans would take that right now?
Vandy (who has won one game in the SEC) kept doing the same thing over and over again. These girls are all- Americans. Hoping that Holly is ready to resign and we can get a coach who will put a fire back into this team.I played basketball all my life (until my body started rebelling on me). Have watched It and coached it a little. I have never seen a team, other than 8 yo or younger that were so fundamentally flawed and schematically challenged as this team. Their offense and defensive schemes are that of junior pro youth league. I've seen many church league teams run more complicated sets. And don't get me started on the effort and hustle.
lol yeah, try posting in the Dodgers thread in the MLB forum. Crickets.
I liked the addition of Pollock though. I think his injury issues have been more about happenstance than durability, and he could be a solid righty bat locking down center with a good glove. So with Belli primarily in right there are good options in left already. No reason to go big on Harper.
I still like Kersh, hope he gets it together this year. I just can't wait for the season to get started. Need to get to an April game for sure.
One thing to keep in mind, whoever coaches this team going forward is going to inherit a team of talented but spoiled gals. Some won't be able to handle being pushed like a championship team is pushed. They've been allowed to pretty much do whatever they've wanted to do since they've been here. Many won't respond and leave.Vandy (who has won one game in the SEC) kept doing the same thing over and over again. These girls are all- Americans. Holly in defense of herself, said that Pat would be in trouble for abuse in this day and age. You can't tell me that Geno isn't tough on his girls (or any of the other competent coaches.)One thing to keep in mind, whoever coaches this team going forward is going to inherit a team of talented but spoiled gals. All the big time coaches push their players, hard, very hard. Players that want to win know this and they want to be pushed to their maximum abilities. It's silly to think otherwise.Holly in defense of herself, said that Pat would be in trouble for abuse in this day and age. I don’t care if they have already agreed that this ends at the end of the season, she needs to step down or be fired right now. She shouldn’t coach another game.Holly is on coaches show now during radio broadcast. They should have never put her on the air. Voice is shaking and has already said 3 times - I don’t have any answers.
Soccer can't be that hard. That's weird. I played it until I got older and the hurts piled up. I would meet at a church gym for years and played noon ball for like 2 1/2 hours. As well as Church leagues and stuff. Believe it or not I coach 8th and 9th grade boys at Silverdale Baptist Academy back when they first got started. They ask me to cause at that time they couldn't afford paid coach so I volunteered. We had a good season but I had never coached and being so competitive I had to learn how much and when to push them. That was tough for me but I enjoyed it. Man how Silverdale Academy has grown from those times. LOL They got great facilities now. My kids went there when they first started. I also coached soccer also for them and HAD NO CLUE what I was doing. LOL Had to learn where to put everyone I has no idea. HAHA! They need help I did my best for them.
