I am still in a little bit of shock also Ron.Starting to sink in that we landed To'oto'o. Really REALLY impressive job by our staff to land this kid. Such a huge need and beating out Bama for him on NSD makes it soooo sweeeeeet. Closing out ESD with Morris, Keyton, Crouch and adding Wright and HT on NSD with transfers like Solomon and Gibbs make this about as good as we could have imagined. Eboigbe would have made it an A+ class all things considered.
Really excited to see the difference of talent at LB and OL on the field with this class. Those are two areas UT hasn't recruited very well in awhile. That is changing and it's exciting.
Think it’s going to become an outdated model. It was set at 20 to put more emphasis on quality classes, not quantity when oversigning was at its peak, I mean OM once signed 38 players, 38.It's sooo stupid how rivals calculates their classes, makes no sense. Some of the lower rated guys become the biggest contributors on teams every year. For rivals to not account for the one outside the top 20 is idiotic.
Don't get me started on their "reasonings" on why players get ranked where they do (rivals camps, $$$, bama, contradicting statements, etc..)

That's a Missouri Class Battleship. I think the Missouri and New Jersey were the only active ships during WW2. The Iowa and Wisconsin weren't finished till after the war. It's one of the 4 but I would guess Missouri.View attachment 193088 Extra Credit if you can correctly identify.
Better buckle up Bass, it’s going to get a lot better.
Watch what Pruitt does this coming year as far as recruiting. Already in on several big fish. We win 7-9 this year and we will REAP the recruiting benefits.
We got a commitment today from a Big time ‘20 recruit.
Don’t know when he will go public.
It should come out soon.

And yet many fans continue to freak out and draw assumptions from every tiny parcel of 2nd and 3rd hand info that gets shared on VQ/Volnation/Etc. If they haven't learned by now that almost nobody knows anything as a fact then they are just too far gone. But enjoy! With what AV posted when everyone was panicking that we were out after ToTo's Bama visit and ToTo's coach's interview explaining that ToTo actually cut Bama after his visit with them...
It looks like the UT staff did exactly what AV said... they put out false info to the VQ and 247 guys that UT was out and it was down to Bama and Washington. This allowed them to keep recruiting ToTo while Bama and Washington negative recruited each other. It was even reported that CJP would not even make his in-home visit with ToTo. Worked like a charm!

Literally my first notification when I removed plane mode this morning before beginning a semi-productive morning was a text from @Bassmaster_VolIt’s so fun watching @nicksjuzunk get caught up to our future.

Phillip Fulmer not P. Funeral!!! SorryI have a feeling that this recruiting win is the crack in the dam for Alabama's stranglehold and in return the birth of the resurgence in The Big Orange. Make and win a mid major bowl this year and watch the return of the ORANGE SWARM! Thanks to P. Funeral, CJP and his all-star staff for breathing life into our our program when it was on life support. GBO!!!
Many on here were preaching a different kind of LESSON for the staff. “Slow playing” in-state recruits in pursuit of higher end targets and “losing out”. They don’t net Toto? Russell would be the incessant cautionary tale throughout the offseason. Glad we missed out on that. This staff should have learned a lesson here. Tennessee is still a national brand name and should cast the nets from coast to coast. Majors and Fulmer made a living with that philosophy. I know that it is easier to stay in the southeast, but there are players throughout the country that envision playing in the SEC.
