Such an anti-climactic day with the NSD pop gone due to the early signing period. I think the NCAA has fixed something poorly that wasn't broken (imagine that). Which has led to the players entering the transfer portal probably to be bigger due to most coaching changes coming after the early date and existing players seeing who the coaches sign in December.

Star gazers need to come back to earth. Recruiting services are just tools. The staff evals are what matters most. If you have a great staff, you will recruit enough great players. If you have a good staff, you get good players - and so on. Every staff takes a handful of question marks with perceived upside to develop.

The only thing that bothered me about last night's game was the O-rebounds Mizzou got. Poor fundamentals in blocking guys out and attacking the ball. Take away that and the guys win by 20+, which would be a good night's work against a team that is hard to get jacked up about.

Yes and no, I actually think there is are greater unknowns, the last few are playing games, say one thing... many times do another. Getting very hard to judge how it ends up, a school could literally strike out today in a bad way with no real fallback options. The one thing that may dampened this... is grad transfer rules this can soften the blow. As long as you only strike out on your last few spots, its not a huge deal... but it depends on the numbers.

Weirdest NSD ever.

I used to stay up late to see them roll in. Now, I don’t even care. I’ll wake up to Wright signing which will be great and see which lower ranked guys we took a flyer on
