If we don't get TooT I would like to see who the staff can round up through grad transfer or JUCO for one year or like others have said saved the spot. We have covered a lot of needs in this class and we aren't going get this roster turned over in two classes with a 5-7 record. Considering our last season I think this staff has done an awesome job considering.

If we are taking someone late he better be a DL or OLB that can get after the QB

All or nothing in football, unlike baseball where it can be a %. Student managers, do however, get financial aid, some as much as full tuition. MTSU has 3 full tuition aid football managers this past year.

Good post. All of the signee's and recruits have said all along that Pruitt and co. are straight shooters. Some will take this as a way to get better, others will feel slighted. I'd rather have the kids who are all in and will work for him.

All I been reading is a hole bunch of stupid assumptions. I will laugh like a maniac if he shows up. If he don't, just thinking we have good options to replace. Robinson, that other good LB, ect.

siap, but people are going throw shade if he doesn't show up.....and it's just dumb. kid wasn't on anyone's radar in the SEC until LATE November.....and Auburn, aTm and Tennessee all looking at back up plans for LB offered.

if he doesn't show he doesn't show. if he does, he's still just a depth guy until proven otherwise.

sign wright and move on to 20. get Harris. and let's go. i'm kinda done worrying about these last couple spots.

plus there's no telling what CJP does after Signing day. maybe there's another Bryce Thompson type player out there for us....lol.....

I'm NOT, repeat, NOT taking up for FD....
But the Frosh RB started several games on Varsity due to injuries by starters. He had several really good games.
Friends of mine (from Jackson that did see him play some) I talked too last night say he is really going to be good. FWIW..... I called them because of how weird this thread is.

they are not insiders or friends with anyone on the D'burg team....just middle school coaches in the Jackson area.

Exactly. If this kid is worried about his step brother being on the “scout” team, he better realize that’s where he is going to be. He won’t break the 2-deep anytime soon, and will be recruited over in the next cycle/s

FTR, i don't believe that to be true at all. that's just dumb. even dumber if Auburn, aTm, Ark or us would waste a scholly on his BIL.

Henderson can get financial aid, just not an athletic scholarship this year. He'd have the opportunity to earn one as a walk-on. He wasn't getting SEC offers before he tore his ACL, so he's certainly not getting one with his recovery uncertain. A&M only has a few spots left. Jimbo's not giving one to Henderson just to get Russell.

From what I can tell, the recruiting frenzy for this kid is 100% fabricated by the Dyersburg insiders that are in this thread. It was just a whole lot of lack of meat to this whole situation. I think the kid is probably the best player on their small town High School football team and they are trying to raise some kind of publicity hoping their kid will get a chance to play in college. Shame on me but I hope it doesn't work.
