This signing day is shaping up just like last year. Had a great early signing period with big targets (Carvin, Banks, DWA in 2018, Crouch, Gray in 2019) but stumbled down the stretch failing to make any headway with a major target. Well land Wright who, just like Peterson last year we all knew was coming, but won’t add anyone of note.

The success of this team hinges on getting the players we need at any given time. We can't continue to sign 1 LB and 1 RB in consecutive seasons.

Eh, we have one ILb, Harrison will play pass rusher and it’s possible that’s where Crouch plays also. So we may have 0 ILB’s in this class. But Pruitt believes that Crouch and JJP can play every Lb spot so there’s that.

It's fair to hope that Pruitt will learn how to better slow play in state guys. I'd love to have Anderson and the LB in this class but none the less adding Wright makes this class a success .

crouch and harrison are LB's. Harrison could fill out possibly to a DE. but he's an OLB right now. Crouch ILB. Beasley already has a frame for LB, and since we've got good #'s at Safety, it's fair to speculate on Beasley's ultimate roll. which could also be RB.

Not hating on Russell just am not torn up about it. Its one kid who does not really show elite on film. He should go where he wants and good luck to him.
