Nope not at all but they aren’t gonna let Fried be in the rotation.

Folty regresses. Gausman is somewhere between what he was in Atlanta and what he was in Baltimore. Have to replace Anibal’s innings. The entire rotation is a question mark. 8 guys could conceivably be better than Keuchel but there’s value in certainty. And let’s make one thing crystal clear: The 2019 Braves have zero certainty

We're in that weird time with a lot of prospects. It feels the same as where we were in about 1990-91 with Glavine, Smoltz, Avery, Smith, Lilliquist, etc. You know some are going to bust, but there are too many good ones for it to not turn out well.

I agree there isn’t certainty in the rotation. I think Newk improves. Folty drops a little from last year. We get Soroka/Touki for a full year. Maybe Gausman can combine the weak contact with the K% in Atlanta. It can be really good too.

I’d rather spend the money on an OF.

The fact that the Braves have never once been mentioned with him is final confirmation that this ownership is never going to spend a dime hunting a championship. If they can get there the budget way then great, but by and large they’re happy just being competitive. Sucks.

This. And yes, it sucks. We have a phenom in Acuna. We have one of the best 1st basemen in baseball. Another young stud in Ozzie, and an ace in Folty. If we go cheap we will waste the time we have with these guys together. Freddie isn’t getting younger

I should boycott the entire Super Bowl for the NFL getting Maroon 5 to play the halftime show in Atlanta, the current rap capital of the world. ****ing embarrassing.
