I will tell you one thing. Schofield gonna have to break out of his Shooting slump if we want to beat UK. They have the bigs and bodies to neutralize Grant to an extent, or worse, get him in foul trouble. Bowden and Turner have to play well too, but it starts with the Admiral.

In summary, I think UK is a bad matchup for us, but we can beat them 2x if we play our best

Oh, and i’d Rather lose both in the regular season if we beat them in and win the SEC tourney.

If I am Barnes, I’m telling Pons that for every uncontested 3 Tyler Herro gets off while you are in the game, you have to run 5x stairs at TBA next practice

Hypothetical question.

Would you rather go 2-0 in regular season vs KY and lose in SECT or go 0-2 in league play and beat them in SECT?

Obvious answer... 3-0. V,B!
2-0 regular season. I want us to lose in the SECT immediately. Rick Barnes final four team at Texas lost their first game in the B12T.

I think our NCAAT run (or lack there of) was because we ran out of gas from trying too hard in the SECT.

In case you can’t tell, I have a lot vested in these upcoming UK matchups. One of my best friends is a massive Kentucky fan, but at least he’s rational.

I work with a couple of clowns that are UK fans that started texting me as soon as they beat KU this weekend about how that proves they are better than us. Apparently the part of their brain that allows a normal person to see that KU with Azibuke on a neutral court isn’t the same as KU without Azibuke on Kentucky’s court never formed.

Anybody not using wet wipes needs to get on my level.
As a plumber I hope to God you're on sewer. Idc what the packages say wipes are not septic safe.

The main problem with the wipes is how long they take to break down and the fact they float so high probability it will cover you field line outlet.

Wright and To'oto'o are the only definite takes. We have more targets than spots... and the coaches still want a grad transfer QB.

I'd assume any QB prospects are now ones that will graduate this spring. Any ideas of any that they might be interested in? Perhaps a talented FCS prospect who wants to move up a division?

Agreed!

I'd rather lose now than come tournament time though...but who knows, this season there seems to just be so much more maturity and experience on the court even when the bench guys are in. Pons getting minutes in Turner's absence, Bowden being the best 6th man in the country, and still having some good size & hustle in Walker/Fulkerson is going to be key to a Final Four run I think.

Yep, need to play our best at tournament time. Really want to keep our top spot in the SEC, though. A L to SCAR puts all of our rankings in jeopardy. We need that W tomorrow. SCAR is one of those teams that somehow manages to be a stumbling block for the Vols, especially in Columbia, so I think everybody will heave a sigh of relief if we can put that one away.

Hey old fart, Georgia’s FR TE was in the portal, not Nauta. Now, go get one of your Ensure drinks for lunch.

Here’s @InVOLuntary at the game Saturday...

Diaper genie ftw

Need to figure out a way to not lose any more games between now and the trip to Rupp. I dont see UK losing many more games the rest of this year. They are playing awfully good right now.

I hear what you are saying, and it’s well taken, but if we lose in the SECT immediately, we will probably be giving up a number 1 seed. If many of the blue bloods finish strong, we are going to have to finish just as strong or stronger. Duke, UVA, Michigan, and Michigan State will be given preferences by the committee if they are in that position, and Gonzaga won’t likely lose another game.

Especially since Michigan St had an embarrassing loss to Purdue and didn't drop one spot
