My point is what did that have to do with the current investigation with Trump? Prior to their statement regarding the Florida recount, they made one remark after another regarding who Stone has worked for on the right and implying that all of the candidates he has worked with are dirty and now tainted forever.

The media loves to speculate so much and repeat it often that eventually their viewers tend to believe it as fact. All sides do it, some more than others.

Honestly, they've been camping on Stone for while, as he's stated he expected to be indicted at any time. But no one knows other than speculation.
