Allan Houston
Dyron Nix
Chris Lofton
Grant Williams
I guess Ron Slay but not in the same league as those 4.

Too young for Ernie, Bernie, and Ellis.

Nix interesting, a few years before my time. I started watching at the start of the Green era, so CJ Black, Victor, Slay, Vincent were who I cut my teeth on.

Tony White instead of Slay maybe, if you was watching during Nix's time here?

Man....top 5 Vols you watched?
Grant Williams
Chris Lofton
Wayne Chism
Josh Richardson
CJ Watson

I was tempted to put JaJuan Smith in there, he and Lofton were lights out
Showing my age a little here, I wasn't alive to see Allan Houston play for us and didn't start following UT basketball till around Buzz Peterson's last year

Cities that deserve a Super Bowl

Disclaimer: This is a pretty stupid article, but I always appreciate a shot at the bammers...

Tuscaloosa, AL
It’s a great football town, though the NFL would have to tell everyone there that it's the University of Alabama having a rare February scrimmage. And they’ll have to accept that the players are paid in money, not in no-show jobs or leased vehicles.

I remember Nix way more than Tony White. I know they overlapped, but I think I was 6-7 when White graduated, and 8-9 when Nix did. Those were probably the years I started going to games.

I’m comfortable with Slay being in the Top 5, and I’m sure White would have been great, but I can’t say for sure I remember seeing him play. I just think there is a bit of a gap for me between Houston/Lofton/Nix/Grant (currently) and Slay. Don’t want to disparage him at all, if we had a player like him every year we’d be in great shape.

Who cares? The class is what it is at this point. You either like it or you don't.

Grant is not only a special player, he is a special person. The way he handles interviews and all the accolades is pure CLASS!!

Agreed - I actually think they all are special players and special people. This is my favorite Tennessee Basketball Team ever. (I was a student during the Ernie/Bernie show and never missed a home game.)

My all-time top 5 BB Vols, Tony White( my personal favorite), Dale Ellis, Allan Houston, Bernard King(only one I don't remember at UT, although I did see him in the NBA, including winning the scoring title at Washington while Jordan was playing) and Grant Williams. 6 thru 10, Ernie Grunfield(didn't see him play in college or the NBA, but have seen enough highlights to know he deserves to be on this team) Dyron Nix, Chris Lofton, Ron Slay and I guess, CJ Watson( mainly because I haven't picked a true PG, yet). Tobias Harris would probably be on this team if he had not been one and done. Admiral and Jordan Bone, both could end up joining the top 10 depending on how they finish their careers. Especially Bone, considering he could have another year and a half. Btw McGill, great comparison of Bone to KJ. I think u nailed it, except KJ had hops, at least equal to Bone. Now Bowden and his hops are very underrated.
