I personally went from paying right at $120/month for cable through my local power company to $60/mo with Sling TV. To each his/her own though. It just makes sense for me.
I get that, but you’re still paying for internet via the traditional means. And without the package I’d guess the internet speed you’re paying for is pretty steep to be able to stream effectively with no buffering.Really?
I had to go back to direct because AT&T capped my data but my Direct bill was $170 and Vue was $40 for the same channels.
I'd rank it #1. He makes that call, NOLA is likely in the Super Bowl or, at the very least, LA has to drive for a tying touchdown with less than, or right at, a minute left.Just woke up and saw the PI missed call...
Are you freaking kidding me? One of the worst calls I’ve ever seen, right in front of the official
Never had that option, rural area so no combo packages. Paying internet price regardless.I get that, but you’re still paying for internet via the traditional means. So what we found is we were paying like $90 after taxes and fees (without the bundle price discount) and $30 for Sling + Hulu and Netflix, etc.
Called AT&T and now we have the same internet with cable for $110 so we’re actually saving money.
Just my opinion, but “cord cutting” is a more of a fad than a money saving option.
Unless you’re cutting TV/streaming all together and plan to watch everything illegally by some means. Then you can get a low level internet package and save a lot of money.
All I know is I'm saving $60/mo. I saved $0 by bundling internet with the tv package. I live in Chattanooga and I'm fortunate enough to have EPB Fiber Optics. The WIFI alone is $58/mo. No discount for bundling with their tv package.I get that, but you’re still paying for internet via the traditional means.
