So happy to hear you were able to have another baby. Of course it will never replace the one you lost, but I'm sure this one will bring your family much joy. I noticed you said because of placenta detachment, and you were told there was no underlying cause. Just thought I would let you know about my family's history in case you needed the information in the future. My mom had 6 miscarriages and my sister 3 plus others in the family. I fortunately didn't have any, but after other health issues it was discovered that I have the MTHFR gene mutation which they have recently discovered causes the placenta to separate. Many doctors do not know much if anything about it yet although a there are a few in Chattanooga who do treat women for it during pregnancy now, and my daughter was able to go to one last year. Fortunately she didn't have any problems, but another friend who goes to the same doctor and had a miscarriage before is taking shots during this pregnancy and having good results so far. Thought I would let you know in case other issues arise for your wife or others in her family.
