There’s a role for glass block in this world, although off the top of my head I can’t think of it.

A bathroom overlooking a lake; built-in privacy. I figure if someone wanted to rent a crane in order to peer in at me, they deserve the disappointment. 😜

Would they work in a humid environment? We have plantation blinds (same thing? maybe not) on our bedroom windows, but they are tres faux.
I’m slowly renovating the house we live in.
This is the window Reds claw foot tub will sit under. If people look in then they get what they deserve 28548264-BA0B-455A-A34D-BFA84563643C.jpeg

Heritage makes some in teak that are for bathrooms. They’re a touch pricey though
We have a teak bath stool (there must be a better term lol) - that’s probably my limit on teak.

When we do the gut job on the ground floor bathroom in the next house, there’ll just be a small awning window 7’ up, so maybe wavy glass, but nothing more.

You do beautiful work!

Just saw your other post.

This sort of thing makes me so damn angry, because most of the time (not always), it’s caused by poor sanitation, whether in the OR, with the urinary catheter, or just plain day-to-day care.

Note for all: when you have a loved one or friend in the hospital, be a PITA. Ask every caretaker, whether doctor, nurse, or other, if they’ve washed their hands. It’s only endless nagging like this that will create change.

Meanwhile for Joe, I’m glad they have ID’d the culprit and presumably by now have the C&S (culture and sensitivity) results to know exactly what antibiotic to use.

I lost track: did they discharge her, or is she still an inpatient?
She's at home now
