I think we start 4-0 next year

I'm officially at the point of, until I see it, I'm being cautiously pessimistic...

I think we still have another year of growing pains until we get settled in. Sort of like Rick Barnes year 2..young guys need developed, need to continue to recruit, and build up the culture.

I'm somewhat optimistic that our O-Line improves, JG matures as a QB, our Offense is better managed, and Defense takes a step up. Hopefully our guys make some noticeable gains in the weight room also.

Still concerned about the D-Line, our overall depth, and the dependence we will have on incoming freshman this year.

I'm going with 6-6 with a good shot at 7-5. Not expecting anything more

I love the enthusiasm for a 4-0 start and no doubt it's possible. I'm not knocking anyone saying or believing that. Speaking just for me tho, untill we can beat the Gators more than once a decade its unlikely the season starts 4-0. I cant even count BYU as a win yet because of how far we've fallen. Its gonna take more than one season together and one recruiting class to get back to starting a season 4-0. I've been wrong before and hoping I'll be this time also.

We need to move the Florida game to later in the season
In 2001, we played Florida late due to 911 reschedule. We won
In 2004, we rescheduled due to storm in Florida and we won

Yep,it has to be rescheduled to beat them twice in a decade.
Seriously tho,I would love nothing more than to beat them this year to start a different trend but for now it is what it is.

3-1. Possibly 2-2. BYU sneaked up on The Badgers in 2018, in Wisconsin. If we go 3-1, we are on track to win 7 or 8 games. 2-2 and we will be on track for 6 or 7 wins. If we go 4-0, lookout! Lose to Bama, and then upset UGA and MSU, in K-town? That could propel us into SEC East contention. Missouri, UK, USC and Vandy would stand in the way.

Pretty easily actually, this is gonna be the start of the climb back.
Hope they do start 4-0, but kinda funny seeing this post right above "UT football is Done" post.

If we can get to 8 wins, I'm pretty happy. We've not had many GOOD surprises in football in a LONG time, so maybe this is the year.

4-0? More likely 2-2. 7-5 should be an obtainable goal at seasons end with 8-4 being the ceiling. If they finish 6-6 or worse (especially with blowout losses to Florida, Georgia and Alabama) then we'll be back in the coaching search pool sooner rather than later.

And you miserable goons wonder why you always set yourself up for disappointment every year.

Honest question for you...Would you consider 6-6 or even 7-5 a failure? BYU and UAB are not tough OOC games by any means and any major SEC program should be able to curb stomp them and other 2 OOC games are pure cupakes. 2-6 or 3-5 in SEC? Y'all are better than that.
