With all due respect, I have a hard time believing most of these programs have holes that he would step into a starting position. I think he’s overvaluing his skill level and would likely be like a Chryst or London level of contribution
Based on the report they are. I know Oklahoma was mentioned and they lost at least 4 ol starters. Maybe all 5. They were talking about it on the radio here earlier. And reportedly Pruitt wants him to stay. So it's possible that maybe he's not as bad as some of us make it sound. Not saying he was good this year but maybe coaches saw more good than we did. And a lot of linemen don't really put it all together for a few years but they don't usually have to play through that development. Unfortunately for him and us, we didn't have the luxury of better options. By all accounts he's a good kid. I'll root for him wherever he plays but hope it's for us. And hopefully he's able to put it all together. I said the same thing when people were bashing Kyle Phillips last year and it clicked for him and he had a solid year. Maybe it doesn't work out for Richmond but I'm not gonna act like it can't.

Here is a view of Bama's average coaching position tenure since Saban took over in 2007.

He brought in a whole new staff with him in 2007, so the average tenure was 1 year in 2007.

The yearly averages include all positions except the head coach, so it does not include Saban's tenure in each year's average.

If a coach was promoted from within from one position to a higher position, then that was treated as year#1 for that position.

Tenure peaked in 2015 and has steadily decreased since then.

Have included a curve with and without their strength and conditioning coach Scott Cochran, who is the only remaining long-tenured coach on the staff.
