It is too soon for speculation like this, but one added bonus of having Tee on staff is that if he kills it and is successful, as we all expect, then if Pruitt does great and bolts for Bama, Tee could possibly be ready to step in as HC (assuming the program is back on top and it just needs to keep rolling similar to when CPF took over).

Assistants starting to tire of working for Saban? This could be a worry here too as Pruitt is much the same way.

It's the best week in Volnation for over a decade, and that is where your state of mind is?

It might happen down the road, it might not. Enjoy the celebration today.

Did any of y'all read the same article I read? He was getting chewed out, because he was already telling Saban he was leaving to follow Locksley. He was taking an OC job either way. He didn't just walk out of an ass chewing and then take another job out of spite.

that's some forward thinking, but there's some merit to it. it does make some assumptions though....which is fine.

it at least opens the door for a progression in that direction for him....position coach/co oc.....OC.....head coach.

but i'm fine with enjoying the journey for now!! :)

It is too soon but I already thought about the same thing so don't feel bad.

I think we should mark the beginning of 2019 down as the point when the tide started to shift...the sleeping giant of the Tennessee Vols finally woke up after a very long decade+ of mediocrity, and the dynasty of the Tide started to crumble.
You know the sense of entitlement that Saban/Bama has at this point is pretty incredible. To their credit they’ve outrecruited everyone (except for Clemson lmao), but they lost that game that badly bc they thought they’d just walk over Clemson like everyone else. And Sabans “how dare you” attitude to a coach who is taking a position that better for him personally is ridiculous.
