See the same thing in pros. Go for the hit, head down right before, so can't see as the ball carrier dodges, jumps, or bounces off, and keeps going. Also see going for the ball, clawing at it while the ball carrier continues forward.

Yep in the pros too, must be the guys right out of college LOL. But it just seems to be much much more prevalent in college.

Maybe because if you do that enough in the pros and you lose a 6-7 figure salary, and if you do it enough in college you just get benched or lose another game or two.

But still don't understand why it can't be coached better in the college ranks.

It sure makes it more interesting to me. We can debate till death who we think we land on NSD, and what coaches leave and who replaces them. That's why I like it here. Diversity. Only semi social media platform I am on. Could ignore me if you dont like intelligent conversation.
Frank is cool..He knows when to put the thumb down on OT, and when to let it slide. Off season is the time for random discussion.

When I played in high school, occasionally the best athlete on the team, by far the best athlete, would go in an do that type of tackle during practice or during a game, and he would get reamed by the head coach for it. We were drilled and drilled and drilled about good form in tackling.

99% JJ is gone. That’s been a while in the making.
Think MC will he back. Didn’t get a great grade.

I wouldn't come back if I was Jennings. Potential to dramatically increase stock isn't there. The way he plays opens up to risk of injury. An NFL team will take a chance on him and he will make a roster and long career imo. He just does the little things coaches love.

Callaway on other hand can improve his stock quite a bit with a big yr and a better team yr in spotlight

It will be all done by AI before long anyway. Also truck driving and many other jobs will be lost to robots and AI. I wonder what jobs are going to be left for actual people to do. How are people going to make money when the jobs are taken away.

Some countries provide a yearly income to families because AI has taken the working person out of the equation. Without this type of program, their economies would fail. I could see this happening everywhere as automation takes more jobs. I won't be around long enough to see this but I believe it will happen.

Working as worker at Amazon is absolutely brutal. The most "you are just a number" place I have ever seen. Supervising their Security however is awesome lol.

(Helps if you post quote!)

I can confirm this. Brutal for floor workers and managers alike. I’ve never been cursed like I was there and I’ve been cursed a lot. Very rough environment. And the money, I called it Drug money, wasn’t worth it. I left to save my sanity.

Did I miss any other news besides Pickens and Henry Toot toot? From ATL Vol? I tried to search his history and only saw the Toot toot thing.

You should google the way the Seattle Seahawks teach their guys to tackle the ball carrier. It's pretty cool. They have researched how rugby players tackle without getting head injuries and incorporated that method into their system. This should be something the NCAA should look at going forward. Rugby is a rough sport that is played without any protective head gear and evidently they don't have many concussion issues. Give it a look.
