No, hell no, Wentz is nothing like Mariota. When Wentz is healthy, he is a bigger and faster version of Aaron Rodgers. The main thing is keeping him healthy, which may never happen

Cool story bro time: back in 2008 when the heat was really getting turned up on Fulmer, I kinda felt bad for Mike Hamilton because I knew people were barking in his ear so I sent him a boring email just happily suggesting a future series with CU and he actually answered! Said he and the CU AD had talked about it before Tennessee ultimately settled on Cal but that he’d keep it in mind. I’m sure he was just about to take my suggestion when he was fired.

Once you enter the portal you give up your right to your scholarship at the end of the next semester. This is a trade off for the coach when he has a player enter the portal. Your scholarship is not guaranteed if you return. If you're a stud player, you may get to keep it but that's a risk you take if you return.

I know Wentz is better. My point was comparing the 2 young qb's injury wise. Neither one can stay healthy long enough to make a sure-fire long-range decision quite yet. Although, if I'm John Robinson, I'm already looking at other options.

all jokes aside as a dad, first pray for health. but i also hope we dont let these kiddos fall into the same selfish pitfalls many seem to fall.

docs always say as testosterone depletes we begin to chill.

im the reverse, as i get older and wiser, and learn about life i have less tolerance for stupidity.

My bad and u are right about both being injury prone. I think Wentz is a gamble worth taking, I don't think Mariotta is, tho

SMH...watching Hurd gain 3.blech yards a carry while getting 20+ touches a game was so freakin awesome. Hurd isn't getting drafted as a RB.

Hurd was not a good fit for Jones' O. The physical pounding Hurd took was unnecessary. It's not like the more appropriate scheme didn't become apparent during Hurd's time on the Hill.
