Where did this fiction come from? My parents were dirt poor, so I worked summer jobs in Tennessee to earn enough money to pay my way through college. Got a degree and made good money as an engineer for 30 years. Took that money & bought a farm & worked my butt off for ten more years, then retired at age 60.
My parents were the greatest generation?? Based on what? Fighting in World War I & II maybe? Where did this come from?
I'm not sure how old you are, but does your generation have the same work ethic? I try not to be judgmental, so I'll leave it to you to decide.
I wasn't talking about last night idjit, I already said the scumbag Lizard fans deserve every thing they get..It’s a game
If they were threatening people or saying inappropriate things then there would be a problem. All they did was gator chomp mockingly at people that had been ish talking all night.

Just ftr, these 18-22-year-old college students are in Generation Z. They're not Millenials.
Feel like I’m kind of the same. I’d be definite as a millenial, I guess, but smartphones weren’t a thing everybody had until My college years. Most people I knew had dial up internet until around the time I started HS. Most of my peers had phones in middle school and HS, but they were cricket phones or Motorola razors. We could call and text each other with them, but there wasn’t much reason to be on your phone unless you were chatting with a friend.I'm in that gray area. I like to yell at kids to get off my lawn but I can also use a computer pretty good. I don't have Twitter or Instagram or any of that but I am on Facebook, which I think makes me about 54 years old in social media years.
Not quite. The technical definition for a length of a generation is 25 years. The consensus for the start of the millennial generation is 1980-1982. That would put the next generation as the kids that were born around 2005.
So, the kids who are about to start high school are the leading edge of the next generation.
In terms of technology, they're the generation who has never known the world without a smart phone. Socially, though, the age bracket you put is likely one of those "micro-generations" like the kids born in the early 1980s who had an analog childhood, but were among the first to experience the internet as teens. Those kids born between 2001 and 2005 were born into a post-9/11 world and have never known a time where we didn't have soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Wouldn't the accelerated advancement of technology right now shorten the generational length some? I do agree with yer post though. And the assessment of the micro generations. Not quite. I had dial up internet and a beeper in college. It was a simpler time back then. I used to internet search up hill both ways in the snow for my research papers.Feel like I’m kind of the same. Some people in their early 20s probably don’t remember a time without smart phones or high speed internet, but we’re both grouped in the same generation. It is what it is.
I thought that too. Here's The Exact Cutoff Year Between Gen Z & Millennials, Once And For AllFirst I've heard of that. If you got links, post 'em. I'd like to know if I'm wrong.
According to Pew Research Center, millennials are now officially defined as the generation born between 1981 and 1996 — so, if you're turning anywhere from 22 to 37 this year, you're officially in the gang. The 1981 designation has been the millennial/Gen X cutoff for a while now, but the 1996 number is relatively new, with previous researchers suggesting millennials could include people born as late as the year 2000. But Pew Research Center says the 1996 cutoff makes sense for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that at this point a 37-year-old doesn't have a whole lot in common with a 20-year-old.
