Serious question.

What has Coach Johnson shown that he IS that good? Tee has shown it be has Coach Johnson put a bunch of WRs into the NFL? I really don’t know.

Also based off of last year I can’t say I was blown away by our WRs. If anything they were inconsistent. Showed up in some games like Auburn and others gave minimal effort.

I thought our WR’s were much better. Johnson hasn’t been a coach long enough at bigger universities to have many in the league. He was a HS HC in 2011 and was Tulane’s RB/TE coach for a few years. He helped Anthony Miller at Memphis but didn’t bring him into the program (was a walk-on). If he leaves, my guess is they were looking for a better recruiter.

I'm stuck in between millennial and baby boomers I guess. That being said the baby boomers seem to be the light hearted ones. Grew up in an easier time, less competition. Entitled to something because their parents were the greatest generation. But yet they expect respect for nothing.

Expect a blue ribbon cause they grew up, bought a house and kept a job. When in reality all they did was get a life.

The generation issue is comical to me. There's good and bad in all.

Guess who raised the millennials? We're all about accountability here for the coaches and all.

Uh, Gen X?

Boomers saw some of greatest innivations of our time, saw radical social changes, and implemented Government and reform...with class.

My Boomer parents earned every shred of respect, and by god, its something we could teach, and do teach my children...respect for older generation, appreciation for history, and awareness of what its about. And if i stepped out of line? i got my ass whipped. not a medal for participation.

old school of hard knocks worked well for generations. not sure where we got soft but, living in your parents basement to save money...checking social media on your brand new 1,000.00 iphone, driving parents Lexus SUV...whining your 20 hr a week jeorb interferes with your video game time...is case in point as to millenial softness.

If anything we should be happy for our parents that got to live the American dream. that's something we all strive to do. Or are we just happy to participate?

What’s the latest on JJ returning or entering the draft ? Isn’t tomorrow the last day he can actually enroll in spring semester classes?

Price on VQ is hinting that Tee Martin is about to be hired.
Did anybody hear Coach Doug Mathews today mention "this offensive staff with Friend, Neidemeir, Martin and Weinke and now Chaney?"
Did he let some secret info slip or was he wishfully thinking?
If you go to the podcast and listen in at the12:15 mark, you will hear that line.

You literally just rambled on about alot of stuff that wasn't even brought up. Don't let your emotions think for you.

This is a conversation, not a pissing match.

Here's just a quick note also for your next internet breakdown, I just picked one of your responses flaws. I have worked shift work since I was 19. So when you say "your 20hrs a week job" you look emotional and uninformed. Hope it helps you for next time.

Oh lord. Not agree with me = troll. Always pegged you as smarter than that.
Nah, not disagreeing, pot stirring. And not once, consistently.

Besides, I was 1 of the 2 arguing with Bruin and I'm 43 and was brought up old school.
Translation: you comment had zero merit, zero to do with the discussion and it's only purpose was to inflame a debate.

Congrats, seems you accomplished the goal at least.

next time you decide to take a social stance, or about a controversial subject....

make sure and share it on football message board. so we can converse about it.

yes it was emotionally charged. not sure what you expected when opining on baby boomers.

typical millenial response. spew ********, for emotional response. wait for said response, then hide behind 'reason and logic'.

and yes, i stand behind 20 hours a week as a stereotype. it was a humorous slant on things, during my rant...but...

ive work with and managed millenials. so, ive witnessed that 'work ethic' first hand.

anything else?
